It really was fascinating - the way the old houses were nestled into the overhangs! The things you find when you’re just wandering hey 😁

Love your videos, thanks so much! I’m finding them very useful in planning my upcoming Vietnam trip. Any recommendations for who you used for your transfer from Ninh Binh to Hanoi Airport? Thanks so much!

Hi there! So glad you’re enjoying the videos 😍 Hopefully I’ll be able to get the next one (back in Hanoi) soon! All our transfers were arranged by Travel Agent Hanoi (Simon)… there will be a link to Simon in the video description 😊 xx

Another excellent video guys. Bad luck with the flu, but at least in a beautiful setting in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh. Shame you never got up Hang Mua but it is a good old climb and wouldn't have done you any good. Loving your joourney guys, keep up the good work. Thanks - Simon - Travel Agent Hanoi

Thanks Simon 😁 It’s been great reliving it all as I do the editing however I struggle to find the time with a full time job and a new (rescue) pup!! Glad you’re enjoying the trip too! 😁

Another interesting video. We did a river excursion last August, well worth it. Hike up the mountain also to see the dragon was worth the effort. Not sure how you'd go if not well though, maybe next time

Yes, hopefully next time! Tam Coc really had a lot to offer and it would be a lovely spot to spend a very relaxing week! So glad we had a lovely hotel to rest in though! 😊

@GregPetaSmith lol, I'm sure it would be. We drove down from Hanoi, so not a lot of time there. Thinking of another trip, do you think it worth a few days?

We commented while we were there that it would be nice to stay a while but that was on the premise that we’d be very, very chilled ie: one activity per day then lazing around the cafes, bars and hotel… we love doing that if we can - it’s lovely to just people watch and soak up the atmosphere and culture 😁 It you’re active and adventure driven people though, you might get bored 😆

I'm sure the Western tourists find these plsces in South Rast Asia amazing. Totally different from Europe. Hope they will be interested in the culture and history, too to deeply understand the people.
