I have nothing but respect and admiration for Native American, Indigenous & First Nation peoples. I wish white folk (like me) had such a vibrant & beautiful culture, respect for our ancestors & women Mothers Grandmothers Sisters Aunts and all the rest, a deep connection to the earth and were caretakers of the land. I'm humbled by what these great people are, strong and still with love in their hearts & standing proud, despite everything they've been (and are still being) put through by colonizers who tried so hard to wipe them & their culture & spirituality off the lands that should still be theirs & not something I'm supposed to think is "mine"... I'm ashamed of my ancestors for what they did to their ancestors, I would disown them if I could, but I can disavow them and their shameful & barbaric treatment of Native American, Indigenous & First Nation peoples, and the disastrous wasteland they made of their beautiful and bountiful lands and all the creatures that used to thrive there.
