0:42 I wpuld argue that there is usually a very noticable difference between Vollies and Career, especially in professionalism. You gotta think, with one, people are held to higher standards while the other has basically none (Ex. Beards and being in shape), also, with carrer you are training ever day you work which could be 3 or more days a week compared to the once a week that Vollies do. Also the classes are different, most Career Depts require Fire 1, Fire 2, and EMT certs. Vollies only have to get a modified Fire 1. I really dont see much wrong with calling career guys professionals since, well, they are.

Yeah your and my experience is very different I am not sure where you are but our department here runs 400+ calls a year. But not all departments are created equal.
