One tip na nakatulong sa akin: be a minimalist.

One way na ginagawa ko now is, instead of buying my lunch or dinner sa work, nagbabaon ako.

Great topic! Hope more young professionals find your channel. I actually had to cut all my credit cards years ago bago pako tuluyang lumubog, and only when I cleared all my debts (including my car payments) did I accept a new one. Took years! I thought i hurt my credit scores real bad but when i started opening savings accounts in different banks a couple of years ago, ayan na naman ang temptation. I learned my lesson though: use CC during emergencies only, wag na pataasan ang limit kung di naman kelangan, and pay in full and on time as much as possible. And if u can't help swiping, make the hard decision to let it go and stick to debit or prepaid cash cards.

I tried using it and i uninstalled after a day or two. Mejo inconvenient! Kasi pwede ka lang mgcash in thru a bank that has PESOnet. If you dont have an account in PNB, for example, you have to do otc. Which defeats the purpose of an online bank since you still have to go thru a normal bank. 😓 CIMB was so much better for me as I can cash in thru 7-11, bayad centers and if you have the Gsave account, online transfers from Gcash to Gsave.

Thumbs up tayo sa "out of sight, out of mind" That's why I opted to put my savings on physical bank, kasi digital banks are so accessible, tipong may gusto kang bilhin, money trasfer 😂. I don't use the mobile banking functionality of my bank strictly and kept the access on that account at minimum. Yung example mo about not buying a P2,500 worth of stuff but ended up buying and justifying a P250 worth of meryenda is the same as what Carlo Ople said on one of his vlogs, he only buys necessities on big online sales, kasi yun yung mga bibilhin niya with or without sale in the future, so why not buy at lesser rate, and that he doesn't buy his shoes and other wants on that kasi KAHIT NAKASALE PA YAN, UNWANTED EXPENSE PA DIN NA ANG REASON FOR BUYING AY- SALE 😂 Not the same wordings pero diba? hahaah I felt attacked char. Pero it was a realization naman. More Powers Ms. Thea!

Bili ka ng reusable SB cup. Then bili ka ng nestle coffee, powdered milk then sugar.

For those who have multiple debts, you can research about debt avalanche and snowball method and check kung ano ang mas bagay na strategy for paying off your debt while setting aside for your emergency fund. Basically, debt avalanche will help you save while snowball method will get rid of your “small” debts leaving the big debts.
