I think what's happened is that the gap has closed between professional players. So the average player has the coaching, exposure etc to keep up with what were onxe considered "world class" players

Lee, I haven't seen, or know, ANY Arsenal fan, that has your knowledge. And rivals or not, you're always up front and honest about their players, whether good or bad. You even gave Mark Goldbridge respect for the work he does. And not many do, because of their jealousy. Big respect for that Lee. Ignore the haters. You have enough subscribers that actually understand football, and acknowledge you for the right reasons, and for the decent guy that you are. God Bless x

As Ineos are making positive moves for Manchester United, Edu and Arteta are still twiddling their thumbs on finding a better striker than Jesus, Nketiah and Havertz, a back up on Saka, a new left back since Tierney is gone and a possible replacement for Partey should he leave. If this is the way to win the Premier League title then I don't want to know what happens when they fail again.

No such thing as world class players anymore Lee, cos they all rely on systems. More time players are thick, they’d run around like headless chickens if they haven’t been told exactly what to do by their rigid coaches. We only have world class systems now, football’s dead. All about stat padding, over complicated tactics and xG nonsense

Calafiori is a very good player, but the way people are acting like he's the real deal already, when they haven't watched him longer than 3 weeks is a joke. The same people who crap on Cole Palmer, even after smoking the most physical league in the world in his first full season. On another side; remember when number 9s actually scored goals??
