Legit question, we don't know at what point MSTR would drop, in fact it was hinted that it would have by now. You buy MSTR CSPs, it drops and you're bag holding for a long time. It's obvious you could have sold calls or put to make money, but based on the lack of understanding, of this stock, how is this not very random and risky?

I'm not really following your SMST trade. What do you mean by $4 entry w/CCS? Did you sell covered calls at strike price $4? And you bought it back at $5.1 with a $20k profit? Please clarify.... thanks

Same. Best I can guess is he did both stock trade and cc but it's not in the orange where he buys stock so I'm real confused, wish it was a little more clear. Debating talking the course but that small gap of understanding is holding me back. Later in the video he says more clear stock and then CSP so then I'm thinking he meant to say csp early in the video. Update: be put out another video clear on cc. I don't see how cc makes $ when the stock price goes up.

Ignore the trolls. Why are they here if they can do so much better? Everyone should do their own due diligence before taking the trade. If you do not agree with the basic assumption on which his trades are based, then DO NOT TAKE THE TRADE!!! I think MSTR will go up as long as we are in a bull cycle, but most of the bull cycle we are going sideways which means, most of the time, MSTR will go down or sideways, until their is a big push on BTC. Ignore the trolls!

Matt, I executed both SMST LEAPs and CSPS at $4 when you first called it and while I made a very small profit on the puts the LEAPS have not made any profit. The Leaps are actually at a 20% loss so I would love to understand what you are doing to make a profit on the same trade. I opened these trades on a red day exactly how you described.

you need to listen to Mat’s videos more carefully. And you really shouldn’t be trading options if you don’t understand, implied volatility, and time decay as basic concepts to do with option trading. When you buy options on such a high time decay play, you will get eaten alive even if they go in your direction and unless they move a very large amount quickly. Whereas Mat was selling options, therefore making money on the time to get premium. I followed Matt‘s play not even that perfectly, but I sold options and I made a good chunk of change and just closed my position yesterday.
