Emergency Preparedness and Response

People and Organizations need to ensure they are prepared to respond in emergency situations. Many people and organizations alike prepare right before an emergency or even worse try to plan during the emergency. In most cases, it may be too late. Oscar shares his personal emergency situation due to Hurricane Beryl, which hit Texas on 7/8/24, and the lack of emergency preparedness by the State of Texas and specifically CenterPoint, the organization responsible for maintaining and servicing power infrastructure and lines.
