The stats show they played shit and created next to no chances from open play. Besides the Bruno chance which was directly from a mistake from Doku getting caught on the ball ,what was there? Neither team were good on chance creation, City were the better team between the boxes, controlling much of the game... United were relying on counters on the transition the whole game, with a team that cost a fortune and way less injuries to worry about. They are shit mate and without City's mistakes, they lose that game and would have deserved to lose... end of story.

I feel like I am going to be having flashbacks of that Nunes pass and the 'tackle' that followed for the rest of the season. Who knows what the rest of the team must have felt like in that moment(already low on confidence). I get that he panicked and people aren't thinking when they allow themselves to panic... But it hurts to think that, just staying on his feet and trying to block a shot would have been more than enough because Diallo nearly wasted that gifted opportunity with his heavy first touch that forced him wide. Doing nothing or picking up one of the spare men outside the box would have been better because Ederson had his angles set, Dias was behind him ready to clear and Kova and Gvardio were both in the box for cover by that point too. For the second goal, I think it's a combination of Nunes and Gvardiol for the most fault, with Ederson ending up in no man's land compounding it. If you watch the angle of Diallo's run he bends it towards Gvardiol, so much so that there should have been a handoff(ie he's your man now) but Gvardiol was a split second too late to pick up on it. Which is a matter of checking your shoulder more at such a vital moment. You could argue it was a footrace Gvardiol was always going to lose though. Dias might have anticipated where the ball was going to bounce first better too, since if he was sprinting back, rather than expecting Ederson to deal with it(the reason he wasn't IMO, same reason Nunes didn't keep sprinting back to the goal line because he expected Gvardiol to deal with it), he'd have actually been able to challenge for that ball and knock it out for a corner. Though it's hard to say how close he was to that first bounce from that camera angle. Go look where the ball first lands and take note of the speed of Dias' run and tell me if you agree. Awful goal to concede due to slow reactions and indecisiveness throughout the whole passage of play.

I know why we are having a meltdown. I have supported City for 60 years and so I have seen it all. Previously, we never had any expectations even during the Mercer era. Anything we achieved was a bonus. When we got relegated, City fans shrugged and said we will be back and we were. But since 2012, we have got used to huge success and so when we don't get it and fall to pieces, it's genuine trauma and so everything said here is justified. We all know that success in football is cyclical but this isn't a slow decline, it's an unexpected disaster.

These losses are 10% of the players fault: these players are being payed thousands a week. Lapse of concentration and weak mentality is unacceptable. 90% of it is Pep’s fault: 1) For a team that lacks physicality in midfield and lacks their best defenders, Pep plays a very open system as if the weaknesses of the team don’t exist. 2) Three of the worst performers this season(Ederson, Walker, and Bernardo) have all been convinced to stay because of Pep who didn’t want them to leave. And Gundogan was welcomed back because of Pep 3) He has never been known to coach a great defense. He’s a possession based attacking manager. He prioritizes his defenders to be good with the ball and play progressive passes more than defending because of his possession based style. 4) He isn’t known to develop young defenders. When was the last time Pep developed a young defender into a great defender? 5) Because of his refusal to change his system for the past several games, the players have lost all confidence. These players aren’t used to loosing this much and it is clearly affecting their mentality, performance and attitude on the pitch. No one wants to attack because their afraid of getting counterattacked if they loose the ball. It’s paranoia at this point. 6) Drawing to Feyenoord, Crystal palace and loosing to United, sporting,Bournemouth, Brighton and Juventus, were all tactical failures. It’s not that these team are so good, it’s the fact Pep complicated things once again and tactically bottled it.

Sorry United created 3 clear cut chances, that’s not including the goals they scored. We on the other hand created one chance when foden missed then a deflected cross luckily went straight to Gvardiol. We are to predictable, no pace in the team, sideways passing, we pick up the ball break into the opposition half then play backwards sideways passes. Any team with any pace will and have cut through us like a hot knife through butter. On top of that the average age of the team is ridiculously high. What’s inexcusable is taking Doku off for that absolute bag of sh-te Grealish. How he’s still part of club is beyond me. I didn’t want him to begin with. Don’t get me started on Walker or the midfield in front of that defence.
