Emergency ventilator update - Pump works

Another update on the ventilator design and build. The pump works now, which I think means a lot of work now starts on fixing the code, implementing alarms and safety features, figuring out supply chain stuff, PCB design, some mechanical design improvements to be made, designing a humidifier and exhalation filter, mechanical overpressure/PEEP valves. This design is perhaps at the end of the beginning.

Great job! Any chance you can add a heater and humidifier and O2 concentrator? At least 50% mixture, if not 100%. One of the problem is O2 failure recently in UK hospital. It had to close down.

Thanks! I am definitely looking at passing the air through some warmed water, I don't think that'd be too hard to add but it's definitely another piece of the puzzle. The O2 concentration problem is a bit more complicated, I'm not sure yet how to do that. The piston can probably do some kind of mixing of air and O2, but only if the supply pressure on the O2 is low enough that it doesn't overwhelm the piston.
