So the way I see it is that War machine was going to hospital to check his spine after the events of Endgame and then thats when the skrulls saw a perfect opportunity to replace now that the only person who can actually tell that War machine wasn't himself is gone. Because let's face it Tony in some shape or form would of figured out Rhodes was a skrull.

Rhodey is still wearing the braces at the funeral, and if the Skrulls were already planning the takeover before Endgame, why would they have given Fury the dna samples they collected after the Battle? It makes much more sense that when they decided to do it, they just replaced Rhodey's Dr, and had him come in for the "upgraded procedure". He gets put under, and the expected time for it is plenty to replace him, thus he is in the hospital gown. Besides, if they had him on sedatives in that highly radioactive zone for the YEARS since Civil War, he would have died from radiation poisoning long ago.

After all that, try staying on a 24hr rotation let alone stay in elliptical orbit around the sun while gently holding a moon at the perfect distance to not toss it away or have it crash into the remaining 2.97 billion tons of watch that's still left. I think it'd be cool if we find out later that the shield that Old Man Steve gave Sam at the end of Endgame was reforged with Proto-Adamantium in addition to Vibranium or some spin like that, because it hasn't been acknowledged yet how it was fixed after Thanos shattered it.

@@emergencyawesome How would you work with a metal that absorbs energy and just forgets about it? If you tried heating it, it would just suck up all the heat and the fire would go out. You can't hammer it into shape. It wouldn't melt so you couldn't cast it. If you threw it at something, it would absorb the energy of the impact and just fall dead. Cap's shield couldn't carom off three objects and strike a target, it wouldn't bounce at all. Adamantium was just tank armor developed for WW2 by the US. Super Soldier Serum, I can't believe Colonel whatshisface didn't make him write it down.

Iron Man went off the rails when they put in nanotechnology. The original armor, and its follow-ups, looked fantastic. Maybe, it was because the CGI could better depict something composed of rigid panels. In the comics, Iron Man wore the classic armor for some twenty years, but the MCU can't seem to leave it alone for one movie...

HERE ARE THE BIG QUESTIONS: Is it the alchemic reaction created by Sersi’s powers that created the adamantium, making her sought after by anyone trying to create the metal? Or was it always buried deep within Tiamut? Which would mean there could possibly be some adamantium on Nowhere’s corpse or in other Celestials for that matter & there’s definitely has to be some out in the cosmos. The implications of either question spark a slew of theories, to say the least. If it’s the former she’ll wind up killing another Celestial for the alloy, but the way things were left in the movie she might have to do that anyway to survive. If it’s the latter you can bet someone like Taneleer Tivan has a stockpile of adamantium collected somewhere, probably stored right next to the caged Makluan dragon, Fin Fang Foom & the perfect earrings to match Ms. Marvel’s bangles. Benicio needs his own Disney+ series, so let’s go with the latter! Just Saiyan!

captain america’s shield is supposed to be an unknown mix of both adamantium and vibranium. the scientist basically fell asleep at the wheel and it was made by accident and found to be virtually indestructible. the vibranium qualities help have it have certain properties which proto-adamantium does not inherently have.
