seems that even while they're building up a young avengers, they're also focused on building up the new avengers as well. spectrum is an obvious perfect fit. i'm sure they'll be introducing more along the way (was kind of hoping for a wonder man reveal in wandavision, but i think that's a huge stretch now) - but obviously folks like she hulk are in the pipeline. the sheer level of world-building feige has accomplished/continues accomplishing is astounding. this is marvel's whole spread of comics and their interactivity with each other - those of us who read those comics religiously once-upon-a-time, are finally seeing this all come to life on the big (and small) screen. marvel is doing this SO right.

She's not really absorbing powers per say.. she's not Rouge. She's mimicking the energy of their powers so that her attacker's powers don't work on her (directly) But Wanda is a different creature than Agatha. Chaos magic could effectively "de-power" Monica (remember it can re-write reality) vs. Agatha is more like Dr. Strange in that Monica would eventually (overtime) become immune to their powers. (in terms of energy blasts).. it doesn't stop them from other tricks to hurt her.. (like conjuring other creatures to use physical attacks, drawing her into other dimensions, time manipulation, etc...) but raw "power blasts" would mean nothing to her.

Agree with you there Charlie. Monica is almost certainly mad that Carole wasn't there when her mom was sick and died. The movie didn't come out and say Carole and Monica's mom's relationship was romantic even though it really looks that way from the framing, but even if Marvel keeps saying they were more 'sisterly', Carole was still like Monica's second Mom, and yet at her worst moment, Carole wasn't there for Monica or her mother and hadn't even tried to be. Other people's problems were more important. That's got to hurt.

I want you all to re-watch the episode again. Now *watch Agatha's face carefully when she notices Monica's arrival* outside Wanda's. She's analyzing Monica's aura/powers. There's a hint of fear there in Agatha's gaze. Now when Agatha goes outside to meet them, look again carefully at Agatha's expression as she touches Wanda to pull her away from Monica. She can sense how Monica countered Wanda's magic and landed with an energy pulse. She can sense Wanda's own surprise and fear, because she's controlling Wanda. Agatha chose Wanda for the ritual because she saw her massive magic power potential. She precisely controlled all outcomes of the Westview illusions, but Agatha absolutely did NOT anticipate Monica's power absorption and development. Agatha wants to get away from Monica ASAP at this point, and it's not merely because she needs to get both the boys and Wanda in the basement to complete the ritual power summoning soon. No... it's because Agatha innately senses something is dangerously amiss with Monica - completely out of her control, a power she can't fully counter, and a threat to her overarching summoning plan. Agatha could not foresee this problem and it has her backpedaling to send in her minion (Peter's doppelganger) to keep Monica occupied.

the dimensionality aspect doesn't really exist in the snap, though. 50% of life ceased to exist, not be teleported to another dimension, so the effects of the quantum realm (Ant-Man), or Wanda's chaos magic would play out differently. I do think that Wanda's magic will play a bigger role, as they've hinted at with Quicksilver being not of her dimension. Keep in mind that Wanda's children are considered mutants, but Rambeau is a mutate, so power transference applies differently to people without the X gene already present.
