On the topic of the melatonin thing i wanna warn people not to take over the counter sleep aid for long periods of time and do NOT go over the recommended dose, i have been dependent on advil pm for the past 2 years and as the time went on i kept upping my dosage because it stopped working due to long term use, last week i took it too far and i took 8 pills which comes out to about 400mg of diphenhydramine, THAT IS A LETHAL DOSE PEOPLE!! I was not aware of what could happen from this pleasseeeee do not make the same mistake i did, after it kicked in i started Experiencing trouble breathing, muscle spasms in my leg and bradycardia which I ignored for a little bit thinking i was just anxious about my dose but after an hour i got up and drove myself to the ER because i was so scared I thought i was going to die…and i didnt tell anyone in my house because i was embarrassed they ended up having to monitor me through the night because when i would start to fall asleep i would stop breathing for a small ammount of time my heart beats were very low, please just save yourself the trouble of long term use or overdosage.

There was some incel "lolcow" dude on KZbin, he was so tiny and niche that I can't remember his name now and can't figure it out with Google. But he was a weird dude who talked about hating real women and loving anime women, and always discussed how he'd take tons of benadryls for the high. One day when he was like, still late 20s I believe, he was discovered purple and dead in the chair he slept in, probably related to the Benadryl. It's such an uncomfortable feeling too, scary feeling, that stuffs no good in those high doses

@@buttlord4204 that’s awful and definitely its bad, ive taken many different kinds of drugstore sleep medications (zzzquil) also gave me nosebleeds!!!, so honestly im advocating for people to stay away from it period and just stick to less harmful products like melatonin or see a doctor if it’s unmanageable.
