Sadly it does kinda suck, nothing personal Ed. These might work for chilling or going out, but would you really skate them yourself? Flatground session or ledge at best? And please, don't sell me that insole bullshit. The oversimplified, thinned and slimmed down skate shoe era is long gone now, baggy is coming back, so are technical cupsoles. And I get it, they might not be for everyone, but your current lineup is all like this, there is none more advanced or skate-functionality oriented cupsoles, the Reynolds might be the only decent ones, but still made to like a vulc. Emerica, you should seriously step up your game. So many people are begging you to reissue the old models if designing new cupsole model is such a hard task at the moment.

There are very few people in skateboarding that have made such a big impact and changed how everyone skates. Ed is one of those people. It's not like he's trying to stay relevant and putting out lots of half-assed footage. He knows where his place is in skateboarding now. He can still shred, but not at the level of the young bucks coming up. But he deserves as much as skateboarding is willing to give him. This isn't a pro model skate shoe, it's designed by Ed. Will I be buying the shoe? Nope, not my style. But there are plenty of people out there that will.
