Their nice and comfy but as for the doub vulcanized rubber around shoe and " " flip guard were more of inconvenience then a benifit. 1 day of skating hard in them the rubber is very low on typical flip locations especially pinky toe region the flip guard after 1day loosened drastically causing the fabric to raise up on the sides. For skating 3 of 5 stars for comfort and day to day wearing they are a definite 5 of 5

dude I switched to sys griptape which is not sandpaper and grips like normal grip (just needs to be replaced by a new one after like 15 to 20 days of skating if you need mob like fresh grip like I do). This grip lets your shoes intact and abrasion goes to maybe 10 % of what sandpaper like mob does. It's surface is made of gum fibers, gripping like sandpaper without the killer abrasion. It's made in germany, so I don't know about availability in the US yet.
