My always loved company, why do you still making such type of the shoes. If you represents the real skaters where are your good models for skateboarders? I mean, slip-ons for skaters not so good product. I have always been a fun of Emerica's style, team, videos, spirit but it seems to me that you are not making a real shoes for real skaters at the moment. Where is the area of improvement and innovation for us in such a crucial part of skateboarding? Only Nike thinking about it and also I personally feel a lack of strategically thinking about skate shoes. Why do I always have my laces torn? Why I need to buy new shoes after making a 100 kick flips literally?

I've stuck with the Romero laced for close to a decade now; with the exception of the Americana, and Chelsea for non-skate boot leisure. It sucks that the laces rip, but it's expected. I only do flatground flip tricks with an occasional grind and vert, because that's what I enjoy most. I don't do this, but I read if you put shoe goo over your laces at the point of impact, it will lengthen your laces. Don't give up on Emerica; they are what's skateboarding and they stay true to it. Don't give your money to the mainstream corporate skate world companies; they have plenty of money. Maybe Emerica does as well, but they are a true skateboarding brand. I refuse to skate anything else. But then again, I don't skate as often as I'd like and I'm not vigorously doing intense skate sessions. Laces last only so long, so Walmart or any shoe store would be your best bet in this day and age. But seriously check out the Romero laced. You can wear it with or without laces; Leo Romero wears them without if that tells you anything. Check out his Stay Gold part and that'll tell you everything :)
