All of this has been heard before and is loaded with supposition and assumptions. It is rubbish. Even the basics are wrong- a picture which claims to be Carl - is not Carl. It even says He “was” a drummer….. he still IS!!

While some here are justly critical of some of the vagueness and erroneous nature of some parts of this documentary, I’m nonetheless grateful for the interview footage and the largely accurate overall biographical information of these three, each a maestro and wonderful embodiment of the best in humanity. Besides, the narrator was honest about not knowing for certain some of the facts. That is what any good biographer/journalist/historian does rather than pretending to knowledge that they don’t actually possess. If the critics can do better, then by all means, please make a more complete video biography of this legendary group, or post a link to one if it is available (& all ELP fans - including myself -will praise you lavishly!!!). But I love this one for at least giving it a good shot, even if it isn’t going to win a Pulitzer or the like. ❤️👍🙏🏻

Greg Lake had extensive plastic surgery and weight gain in later life so he could look more and more like the father character in Family Guy. Carl Palmer no longer takes his shirt off due to the inevitable onset of Man Boobs.

And just how do you know that Greg Lake had entensive plastic surgery?? And yes he did gain weight, it was a problem that he struggled with all his life, but it also could have been the medications he was on with his cancer and other ailments as he got older. We all get old and none of us look like we did when we were in our late teens or early 20's. I wish we did, but it doesn't work that way. Back in the day Carl was very lean and very cut! But it hurts more when you exercise as you get older and yes, men do gain weight as do women and men do tend to get man boobs, some worse than other. I'm sure it will happen to you too someday. Something to look forward too.
