So true!!! This is such a beautiful song, amongst so many others of our youth! For me, Greg Lake had one of the greatest voices and seemed like such a nice person! Definitely very talented! Is it just because it was our youth or simply beautiful music? I think both!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I’m 68 on July 1st, I do enjoy watching today’s grandchildren reacting to the greatest music ever produced. They actually appreciate how great it was;) I tell them to tell their grand parents how lucky they were to grow up with the golden age of Rock n Roll, 1955-1980!!

I was blessed to be a child from 10 on listening to this music and loving. I now remember words to things I listened to with my parents and their friends and kids. Such a fun age and time. I am truly blessed with the best parents but I learned with them. They are amazing people in every sense of giving kind fun constant presence. I learned but didn’t appreciate or realize until later.

An old friend invited us over to his apartment during a junior high school skip day during the early 80's ( '81) and played this guitar sequence for us. He was highly talented musically but tortured too and succumbed to drugs shortly afterwards. He was a kind soul and everyone cheered for his future success in music, life but unfortunately, we all have our demons! This song reminds me of the fleeting innocence of our youth, the kindness of most people then, and great music allows us to revisit these memories with mixed emotions. R.I P. Doug!

@@JeffreyWilliams-dr7qe. I adore Dave Groel, as an artist and person. Don’t know who Drake is. Nothing, and no one, can top Greg Lake’s voice. Having said that, I remember saying the same thing about Bob Dylan in the mid-60’s. It was true until I heard Greg Lake’s voice three months ago. I am so glad to have found him on KZbin. Now that I have heard the first album of King Crimson, I regret not having seen him in concert. Really regret it! Same with musicians, if you don’t/can’t hear a wrong note now and again, it ain’t a real voice or instrument a cause they all missed the mark at one time or another, kinda sorta;);) Recordings could always be fixed, thanks to Les Paul, but live music not so much back in the day;)lol

@@kevinmcconnell3641 ... interesting you quote "autotune, or today AI" on this very song and video ... I guess it was Greg Lake himself, who once said on an interview, that music started to "degenerate" not with internet or the computer, but way before with the "WALKMAN" stating that listening to music (with the walkman) would isolate yourself, and music itself would not be a shared experience anymore. And I guess he was right, especially when you consider how misused the word "share" has become nowadays. R.I.P. Greg & Keith

First saw them at the Nassau Coliseum that was my first concert ever in 1973 or so. Brain Salad Surgery had the music alternating from speakers all around the concert hall. Amazing. Then I saw them at Radio City Music Hall. Still super great.
