This is incredibly encouraging to see. His short passing is simply far better than I ever gave him credit for. His weight of pass and deft touches are rather special. His defending has always been rock solid bar some monumental lapses in concentration but I’m hoping that was a lack of confidence rather than skill. His crossing still leaves much to be desired but he’s starting to show footballing intelligence. Playing to his strengths, starting to grow in confidence and a smile so infectious it rivals Sonny’s. Bravo Royal. An inspiration.

he has always had great short passing and defensive abilities, that is why barca signed him as RB. He is a RB not a RWB, and daft fans were saying he can't play football. the "fans" always think they're better than the players and gaffers. the disrespect they show is beyond embarassing for so called supporters of the club, I believe they are Assna fans in disguise destroying the club from the inside and dividing the fanbase, saying Conte out, Emerson out, Hojbjerg out, Son out, Davies out, Dier out, and so on. They abuse our own players and gaffer instead of supporting the club through thick and thin as true supporters should.

i know we were only playing west ham but that was probably the first time this season that i saw spurs playing like they did last season. quick efficient counter attacks with link-ups between our attacking players. i hope we can continue playing like this in the upcoming games.

It was probably a tactical move, you can see how harry comes down looking like he wants the ball, the defenders are focused on him while both Ben and Emerson is far up the pitch and it creates space for us and confusion for West Ham, doesn’t really matter who it was meant for tho it was a fantastic pass from P

Like when strikers skew their shot and obviously they meant it because they went to shoot and scored, just did they mean to do it exactly that way. If so that's a great long ball but if he didn't it's a great long ball. Usually from that position we see the LCB play the ball into Harry like we saw I think vs Man City maybe last season where Davies plays it to Kane and he flicks it on to the runner Sonny who squares it to Kulu. This is new for me.

Been saying it for a good while now. Em has silky feet. Pretty much never loses a ball that is takeable. Also pretty fast over longer distances (he is securing at the back on corners etc). Never seen him outrun like the other centerbacks once yet.
