Can you imagine how cool it would have looked if he had transformed like this in the movie instead of what we got? That could have been such a badass character moment. He's barreling down the highway in truck mode and then he transforms with his robot mode seemingly bursting out of the truck mode. It would have been way more impressive than the nonsense we did get.

Finally EmGo's take, Great overview and extra points of information as always sir. Fantastically done. Only flaw is paint chip in Truck mode but holy that robot mode is total killer. Insane level of engineering and ultra high quality with ton of die cast. This is UT's top achievement. Dragoon is still my favorite because of Cybertronian Jet mode, that said Nero is on a whole different league. Unique Toys are the true kings of Transformers.

Given the nature of Galvatron's "transformation" in the movie, I never thought we'd get a figure that could be this faithful to both modes and maintain this level of quality in design, appearance, engineering and articulation. Unique Toys previous offerings in the G1 Masterpiece market may have been a little iffy, but they really started showing what they could do with their movie line.

Mascot serving as a vessel for Broken Matt Hardy was WONDERFUL! And Unique Toys worked some voodoo magic on that transformation. Loved it around the 16:22. Poor Nero looked exhausted from transformation and had to take a power nap to get through the rest. LOL

I have this figure and yes the wires are very thin. I had no issues however. I immediately realized that it would be best to disengaged his entire head. And pull the battery compartment totally out, then place the batteries in and reverse the process. It's a little more time consuming, but.....its the safest way to load the batteries without any probability of popping the wire connections. Now, I did have one issue. The contactor plate inside the battery compartment was loose. So when I place the batteries in, they did not function. So, I discovered that was loose when I haphazardly tapped while batteries where installed and the LEDs flickered. So, I addressed the issue by stuffing a very, very small and slender piece or cardboard paper in between the plate and wall, and.....no more issue. Works like a charm.

I have purchased it as well. Gotta say they did a very impressive work. It's a shame it is their last one, though. Would've loved if they'd continued with all the AOE/TLK robots, as there are no other 3rd party companies that did Drift, Crosshairs and Bumblebee to transform by using the black magic that Unique Toys used.

Yeah agreed, I'm disappointed they never got to have a crack at the other bayformers that actually had comprehensible transformations and robot modes with car parts in the designs. The engineers could have put the mpm line to shame. Hasbro seriously needs to hire these people, the way they approach the transformations (their figures basically turn inside out) is a completely different and far superior method

In regards to the scraped paint in front of the truck, which I believe that most likely is a production fault, rather than something caused due to the transformation, as mine was already like that the moment I took it out of the package and changed him to truck mode, a solution is to use Gundam Markers Real Touch. It helps and the paint won't scrape off anymore. It's not the end of the world, but for those like me, who are crazy about details, it is worth it.

I think the "Black Magic" of Unique Toys comes from "Inversion of parts". "Inverting" or actually "Flipping and Folding the panels" from Vehicle side to Robot side. Unique toys makes awesome figures but I think other companies can do it with a little more engineering. Its just Unique Toys Engineers were quick to figure the "Flip and Fold trick" out early in the game. Other companies can work the same Black magic. You don't need to swing this part to somewhere else or have a Vehicle Shell that folds up into a huge backpack. You just Flip and Fold the panels and do it efficiently so that there isn't a huge bulk in any given place in Robot Mode. It may actually be easier to completely invert a figure and completely hide the Vehicle Mode than to leave parts of the Vehicle Showing. This is because an exposed Vehicle part has to swing to the needed location or it must have a Faux Piece that gives the Illusion of full transformation.

I just smile when I'm transforming mine. It is an amazing figure. The best robot to a VEHICLE mode.. emphasis on vehicle. That's why dragoon is not as impressive.. it's just a make believe jet... That's easy to configure. Nero Megatron is king

Ok let’s see if this is a masterpiece AoE Galvatron. Clean back, check. Faithful paintjob, check. Can hold really well, check. Vehicle parts that cannot be seen, also check. I can agree 100% that this is a Masterpiece AoE Galvatron. ( I hope Unique toys can remold this figure into the Galvatron we saw in the Sonic movie)

Unique Toys was the best company to tackle making a transforming figure of a character that... really doesn't 'transform' in a way that could be easily done as a figure. I only have Peru Kill, I would love Dragoon, Challenger and this guy as well. I'm hoping to get them soon and make one hell of a nice display shelf with them.

Curiosly mine arrived with the same broken horn too, seems like a common issue, two little points of epoxi glue made the job keep it in place. Another issue I got was the lack of the hinge's pin in one of the legs parts, that one wich keeps united feet / wheels part with the rest of leg, luckily I could repair it with some thick wire. Seems like being the last U. Toys release they relaxed the quality control a bit.

This is literally baffling, they somehow managed to make this whole toy with ZERO shellforming and ZERO backpack. In robot mode, there is literally no trace of truck at all. You would not be able to tell that this guy turns into a modern truck.
