Something fun for those interested; the robot mode for SS Scorponok was based off various concept designs from ROTB's pre-production, which even included a massive troll-like combiner formed from various members of the Scorponok horde. Furthermore, each variant of the Scorponok model in the final film were given codenames for the Beast Wars incarnation's various repaints; this specific deco is the "Double Punch" variant.

Hey emgo you should do a skit where mascot gets chased and caught by all the bug transformers in your collection with him freaking out the whole time trying to use his club to fight back and you walk in to find out what is going on and when you see you just close the door while laughing as he begs for help.😆😂

I had no plans on picking up Scorponok but found him in the wild so I went ahead and grabbed him. I came to love this thing in both modes. Hes one of my favorite of the ROTB deluxes so far.

At this point im surprised anyone even believes hasbros official stock images, couse this is a yet another figure who looked god awfull in the images but in hand looks absolutelly amazing. It has it's issues but for the most part it's a really great figure

Its hard for me to get past nostalgia for the 07 version, also, that character was heavily involved for the first 30, 40 minutes, the RotB version was fodder to be destroyed. I really like the 07 version, though this is a better toy!

Was gonna pass on this guy since I got the other version, but he looks way better in hand and the transformation is cool. If I remember right, I read all the Scorponoks were locked into beast mode when they were enslaved which is why they never transform in the movie

As I was transforming him, I think the directions for his rear legs and scorpion mode are not correct. If you flip the shins around you can end up putting his feet where the knees go and then you can use the sharp pointy end as the feet of the scorpion leg. It's kind of hard to describe, but if you play around at the back legs, you'll see how it can rotate around in. It seems to make more sense than having those purple feet in scorpion mode.
