I agree, Nonnef's accessories are a bit tight, but I think it's better that way because it's easier to sand down excess than to do the opposite I guess.

What I love about nonnef is the fact that they're injection molded so they look really good compared to the 3D printed ones. The bad thing is, nonnef doesn't really make a whole lot of filler kits so once you've gotten the ones you want, that's it.

With this and some custom paintwork, it can look even more like a new character. I love upgrade kits that do stuff like this. Shame about the tolerances getting iffy at times though. I wonder what’s easier to fix or more annoying by most figure collectors. A joint that’s too loose or a joint that’s too tight?

At least this kit doesn't prevent him from pointing his weapon. Wreck-Gar is one of the better articulated figures if only because he has an ab crunch and back arch which are both kinda rare on a mainline figure so for him to have both is remarkable.

I appreciate what Nonnef does with most of their kits but yeah, their tolerances need work. I had to toss most of the Hoist kit because some of the gap fillers didn't play nice & the hand replacements can't stay fit in truck mode. ER Ironhide's tires are a nightmare to assemble & the replacement red hand kit for that mold needs the 5mm hand holes drilled out some to fit anything. Slag's horns have pegs a bit too long, they have to be trimmed slightly so you don't have a gap in the seam. I also wish the sprue points were thinner to make them not so much of a hassle to remove parts. I am more impressed by the Toyhax Zartan conversion sticker set for Junkheap. It's certainly better than the official GI Joe/TF crossover bots so far.

I can attest to the tight tolerances of Nonnef parts. I was trimming an attachment point today, and my knife slipped. Now I have stitches in my thumb, and can't work on any projects for 2 weeks.

Hmmm I suppose someone could get 2 copies of the kit to get 2 pairs of knee/elbow spikes to make all 4 limbs extra spikey. Then get Gar-Tan ToyHax & use what ya can on Rubbish to make him less Wreck-Gar.

I wish you had showed what parts could go on a junk heap. An optimum method to this would be getting dupes of Wreck Gar and Junkheap and two of these upgrade kits to create different Junkions.
