Remember watching this movie as a kid, and loved the music.. :) Do you have a suggestion on a Disney song I should arrange? Hugs from Sweden! /E

I hope il be able to play like you, how should I approach practicing fingerstyle? I like to have a very organised routine in which i tick off and practice different things, otherwise I dont feel like Im effectively getting better, i was wondering if u had a routine of sorts or could recommend any books that massively helped u, something like that. My goals in fingerstyle are to be able to play as well as you. Thanks 😁
@EmilErnebroGuitar4 жыл бұрын
Hi! To be honest, I never really had a practicing routine that I repeated every day. But I went to music school and I was inspired all the time. I played all day in school and then 5-6 hours when I got home from school. I usually practice things that inspire me. Playing songs is great, because you have it all in there.. if you want to perform a song beautifully, you have to have timing, groove, technique and even sometimes knowledge about improv. I’d suggest to focus on listening to the players that you love, and don’t try to transcribe everything.. just learn parts that inspire you - like a part of a great solo etc. use it in different keys, change tempo and style. You can spend hours on just one phrase and you’ll learn a LOT! I’ve try to put everything I know into tabs and lessons at ProGuitar . Com / academy if you’re interested to check it out. I have different topics such as improv, arranging, technique etc etc. hope this helps, kind regards /E

Hi Emil, I have a question. How did you barre the 5th and 6th string at 1:52? My middle finger can't barre both 5th and 6th strings without muting the 4th string. It's such a beautiful arrangement so I'm learning it! :D
