Inside I am bleeding, hungry, tired, cold. I fall again and again, constantly depending on Him to hold me up. I miss Kalandra, my auburn haired boy. He used to make me laugh. Running with me through the woods, we hadn't a care in the world. But now, things are different. It got so bad that there are scars on his arm, one for every ten sorrows he's born. I can do nothing to help him, for who can assist someone who rejects your help? Instead, I sit here, cold, tired. The Light that so burned inside of me has now dulled. I am now what's left of our once constant joy. I hold my head high for everything we stood for; peace, and hope. I hold it alone. A desperate fire now burns in her eyes. The battle for freedom was uneven on her side. She had fought for them both, carrying both of their troubles when she herself needed someone. He insisted that she wasn't alone, and yet, when she needed Kalandra the most, Sakeenthrae found herself fighting for both of their lives. Perhaps it was better this way, she supposed. It had been so long since she had someone to fight alongside with, now she was sadly used to it. He meant well, but it was never the same. She sometimes wondered if anything would go back to normal. She supposed it wouldn't. Instead, there would be an ever constant battle, one that she feared would always be uneven. She missed his laugh, yearned for it, but would only receive a fake, momentary one instead; one filled with lies of contentment and fake hope. She fought alone.
