Some indoor climbing moves are often called "ridiculous" because you would never find them outdoors. Today, we try to myth-bust that theory!

Mathematicians mathsplaining stuff to physicists is actually a thing and has been for a time. To a physicist, math is a tool to understand the physical world. They often don't care if that takes them a bit outside of the bounds of mathematical rigour. To a mathematician, this is like seeing house with the windows held on by duct tape and chewing gum. That a math institute has set a $1,000,000 prize for a rigorous treatment of Yang-Mills theory and physicists just shrug and move on speaks to the difference in priorities.
