The video shows the timelapse of the entire FORMULA 1 ROLEX GRAN PREMIO DEL MADE IN ITALY E DELL'EMILIA-ROMAGNA 2022 at 15X speed.
No GPS position data was used. All the motions of the single-seaters are replicated through the times scored by each driver, under the assumption of constant speed during the lap.

How it Works:
The chart has two main elements: on the left the circuit with the laps run and on the right the data in tabular form.
The lap is counted at its effective conclusion, starting from lap 0.
On lap 0, the table shows the starting grid positions obtained during qualifying rounds.
Each time the first in position passes the finish line, the lap counter increments and the table updates with the data for the new lap in progress. As other cars pass the finish line, the table add new rows, showing the details of the driver that closes the lap (for this reason the lapped may not be shown in the table).
-The "Change" column shows changes in position from the previous lap. In green are the positions gained and in red are the positions lost.
Off-track cars represent retired drivers or those who did not finish the race for any other reasons. If the cars go off the track immediately after the start it is possible that the driver did not participate in the event or that he retired before finishing the first lap.
The duration of the pitstop is shortened by a factor and compensated in the following lap to reduce eventual overtaking mismatch, caused by assuming constant speed.
At the end of the last lap, the cars arrange themselves on the circuit to reflect the position and distance on the track at the time of arrival.
