Reminded me of a particular story of a guy that was obsessed with creating the perfect perfume. So he used many young girls that he thinks smells nice and used them as ingredients for the perfume. But as more girls disappears, the townsfolks caught on and captured him. Unfortunately, he completed a bottle of perfume and used it on himself making everyone swoon over him. Eventually he was made the emperor but due to an incident he got the entire content of the perfume bottle on himself and the effects of the perfume was so strong that everyone that smelled it just went and ate him up.

​@@FranciscoJG Blackcliff has a completely useless passive & that's fine? Plus Kitain is a high base atk weapon so you're not missing a lot from it (27% ATK if it was atk% main stats instead). There's more to a weapon than just its stats. The passive gives 27 flat energy, which is more than half her Burst cost, and an additional 12% Skill DMG on top of it. The EM is not completely useless in teams such as QuickBurn, and you'll still trigger Burning occasionally. It's a free craftable weapon that deals more damage than Favonius Lance if you need the energy.

I swear, Hoyo loves releasing "potential" characters at the end of each region You have Kazuha at 1.6, who was said to be "just a 5* sucrose" You have Yelan at 2.7, whose said to be "just another Xingqiu" You have Baizhu at 3.6, who was quoted to be "just a Yaoyao sidegrade" Now that we have Emilie representing the end of 4.x, I'd expect her to keep the trend that her value will just rise with the Natlan characters (especially with the Pyro archon and *wink wink*). May not be as prominent as Kazuha or Yelan impacted the meta, but for sure will be a staple in a lot of top teams during 5.x

@@priyanlevesque You have a point. Yes, doomposters will always be doomposters and will do that to every character tbr. But, these 3 specifically are "not just good" but rather are dominating the usage rates because of other co-dominant characters that are released the following major x.0 patch. It makes the doomposters even look more dumber when they repeat the same old stupid mistakes they did on previous events. I'd say there's no harm if we take this trend as a tool that could actually help us predict the character's viability long term, not focus on those doomposters who are none the wiser.

I pulled and I'm using Missive Windspear and Reverie on her. I've been hearing that she's a Dendro Albedo, but to me it's more like Dendro Fischl that took inspiration from Navia. Like Navia, she utilizes an undesirable reaction to make her personal damage better instead of buffing that reaction. I think right now she has adequate teammates, but hopefully in the future there will be others that come along that make her a best-in-slot pick instead of an alternative.

I only watch sevys guides now coz other videos just disregard the character if it they aren't game breaking and call them underwhelming rather than seeing their potential. Plus sevy is so much more in depth than others imo.

I ended up pulling for her today. I don't have a lot of dendro characters, so I figured this would be a nice addition and she's already doing pretty good damage! Plus, I was one of the few who pulled Chiori, so I think I'll just start pulling for characters who the fandom believes won't sell well, and give them a home with me.

@OnePatrix same I don't regret my decisions either. I don't have Chiori's weapon, but using Cinnabar Spindle on her works really well! For Emilie, I'm using Kitain Cross Spear until I get a better option, but so far she's getting decent damage even though she's only at lvl 70.

Just fyi lavawalker works on her too… burning is still considered a pyro status so you can still use the set if you don’t wanna farm the new domain, if you already got a bunch of lavawalker pieces

@@farr_jms7707 i pulled Emilie and have a lot of fun with her. I also have C1R1 Yelan. At first i pulled her weapon but noticed that the build was not optimal as i was lacking ER. The solution was to get C1 Yelan. C1 is also great for exploration.

Honestly, I really love Emilie. I know lots of people don’t like her design, but I think it looks great. Also saw that here JP voice actress is pretty good. I really like the dynamic of her being a perfume saleswoman that also uses that to help solve crimes. It’s like a baker who’s part detective by using his skills in baking. Her niche of using burning to up her damage is cool, which has potential to be made better since we’re heading to Natlan. I had 110 pulls, but lost 50/50, but I did get C3 Jean which I’m happy with. Spent some money to get 60 pulls again, so I know I’ll get her. Not sure if I’ll pull her weapon, but considering I could get Yelan’s weapon as well is tempting.

I really enjoy using Fav on her. Being always able to refresh the case with her burst is really convenient, as I noticed I kept forgetting to sometimes use her skill on rotations when her burst wasn't up.

I had my doubts about pulling for Emilie, but I’m glad I did. I’m running a no-shielder team with Arlecchino to make the game somewhat challenging again, and Emilie’s passive is great for making Arly not burn herself to death. Damage on this team is coming from Arly, Emilie, and Chiori. So none of the powerful pyro reactions. But I’m finding that all of the straight off field damage from Emilie and Chiori mostly make up for it. An interesting experimental team. I’ll probably keep using it for a while.

I liked going with Emilie, Dehya, Furina and Baizhu in the abyss. It was the first time I was able to finish the abyss using my c0 Dehya, (although obviously the actual dmg was coming from Emilie and Furina). Her talents are still lvl 6 btw and using double 2pc 18% atk, so I'm prety excited to see how far she'll go from here

This was very helpful, I think I'll try a melt-burn team with Chongyun, Bennet, and one other Pyro unit (either Dehya or Xiangling, not sure yet). With this team I could potentially use Chongyun's infusion to deal melt off of Emilie's normal attacks, while keeping the buffs from Bennet nice and big. (I'll definitely have to give Furina a try too though)

A random team I tried and surprisingly worked was Zhongli(shielder), Eula(Built for Pyro Dmg), Emilie, and C6 Benny, and it is a team that does surprisingly good, with Eula hitting some pretty good Pyro infused NA, and mixing in some of her skill to do some (surprisingly good) melt dmg

I pulled for Emilie, lost my 50/50 to a Dendro Bow, and then finally got her. I hadn't done any prefarming for her, but the centaur statue is easy...unfortunately the Arlechino feather isn't so easy to get, and it took me a few attempts with different teams to beat her (ended up being my Wrio burn/melt that did it) Now I just have to wait to get some more. I'm enjoying Emilie's playstyle, but I'm still trying to find a team that works well. I'm mostly settled on Emilie, Deyha, Yaoyao, and either Benny or Yoimiya. Benny if I use Emilie as the "DPS" or Yoimiya if the enemy moves around a lot. But most important is not needing to rely on bursts for damage.

A very interesting team C6 Bennet one is cool imo! Emilee without doing any attacks is not going to be a good addition to anybody's account that is what I came to realization when I saw Emille's C6 I would like to see a Emille C6 with C6 Bennet and Baizhu or Kaveh (Kaveh one is not Burgeon but Spread/Quicken team) but with Bennet bursting every rotation and it simply works! Baizhu team is probably Bloom with a Hydro Flex slot probably Furina or Yelan or Xingqui is great there but none of these could be called truly Emille teams since as you can see you practically need to throw Utility + Off field DPS units to make her the main DPS! 2nd team is more of a Kaveh team but let's be honest nobody has invested in a Kaveh...
