Emilio Estevez recounts the “miracles” that happened to his family on Spain’s Camino de Santiago and shares why it inspired him to write and direct the movie “The Way.” His son Taylor met his wife on the trail with grandfather Martin Sheen (who also stars in “The Way”) and two crew members found love on set. “One thing is certain,” Estevez told Salon. “However you start your Camino in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, you do not finish this for the same reasons, nor do you finish it the same person.”
