👍 8:42, Live Photo, was one of the main reasons I upgraded to the iPhone rather than Samsung, great for taking photos of snap events, fireworks, lightning, etc, since it starts just short of a second before you take the photo

Coming from a heavy, full frame Nikon, do any of your videos show how to hold an iPhone for photography please? Something I'm struggling with at the moment.

I like learning from this channel. I have a iPhone 11 Pro and what I learned today was that 16:9 which I shoot all the time I can change if I make a mistake and it was on 4:3 mode. Is it better to shoot in the 4:3 mode all the time in regards to better sharpness. I have the tripod you have been using it for years. I used the timer all the time but what a pain to delete the other 9 photos to keep the best one of the burst of ten pictures.

What is the name of the tripod? I would love to get one. TIA

Awesome video as always. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and sometimes just feel I don’t make enough of what it can offer. I always think there’s more to be done / try and understand. Always interested in the Pano and portrait side

Did you do a standard screen recording while shooting the video or did you use an app?

We used the built-in screen recording.

Which lens and settings are best for amateur (like, a couple) boudoir photography? Maybe the 2x (48mm) lens in Portrait mode, with the studio lighting option?
@iPhone_Photography_School4 ай бұрын
Hi there, Use the 2x (48mm) lens in Portrait mode. It provides a flattering focal length for intimate shots. Studio lighting option in Portrait mode can enhance skin tones and create a soft, flattering look. :)

just started watching this video....is Emil no longer doing instruction videos? I have that tripod and the grip for the phone that comes with the tripod breaks. I will be looking into the Joby grip today

At the moment, there are no new videos featuring Emil as an instructor. However, he’s actively overseeing the production of behind-the-scenes content.

Hi, you're doing excellent videos. Can you please tell us why the iPhone 15 pro Max model captured darker phones and solutions for it. It's my first iPhone purchase but gives low quality pictures compared with my friends iPhone 14 which is quit upsetting😢. Please do reply

Hi there, here are some tips you could follow: More Light: Capture photos in well-lit environments. Edit Post-Capture: Brighten photos using editing apps. Contact Apple Support: If issues persist, seek assistance.

Dave, thank you! I need you and Emil to exert your influence over the Apple developers to give us that switch back that turns off all of the processing. Would love the option to shoot in Bayer RAW with the native app so I don't have the need for a 3rd party app. Hope you are well!

Photoshop has the ability to import Apple ProRAW files on my PC, lightroom does too on the iPhone app. They’re the most common editing apps - what else do you need?
@Behind_The_iPhone_Lens4 ай бұрын
@@NickMolesworth I do not like the over processing that is done in ProRaw unless I am in low light conditions. I prefer to have standard Bayer RAW photo that is unprocessed from the sensor that I can develop in ACR & PS.
