I just started learning printmaking over the past few months and have been looking at multiple tutorials and videos on it, but yours and your work have been the most inspiring for me!

that trade looks romantic af... Like a whole day of quiet contemplation while creating art. Something tells me that this man is quite happy with what he is doing, almost every day.

Thanks for liking it, I wish I could do it every day, I'm multitasking a lot at the moment, but one day I will focus on printmaking only! finger crossed

Amazing to watch. I realized I did not like Lino cut because my tools are not sharp enough and I did not use my tool the way you do. Have to go back and start relearning this craft and maybe this time I will like it as much as I like Lithography.

Have you ever done reprints/multiple runs of your earlier works? I adore the Ziema piece I bought & was wondering about the others & whether I might be so lucky to have that opportunity (already signed up for the email feed). The amount of detail in these is simply outstanding. Thanks for your wonderful videos and art! :-)

hello, how is the technique you apply while transferring your designed photo to the layer. ıt was a very successful job.
@ashleyburns-merrill76174 жыл бұрын
what do you use to transfer your image like that??
@xilo72054 жыл бұрын
mmh I think it's just wood glue, i saw something similar once
@KMoWearableArt4 жыл бұрын
@@xilo7205 Gampi paper (gloss side up) mounted on regular printing paper so it will print on his printer, then transferred to lino using PVA glue. Remove the printing paper while still wet, after the Gampi and glue is dried he scrubs off the thin Gampi to leave the ink behind. He said in another video where he demonstrated this that if he gets a minimum of 70% of the image transferred he's happy because he can freehand the remainder. It appears he gets more than 70%. I wonder how long the cutting took - lots of detail in that tablecloth! Very patient man.
@Amperzand3 жыл бұрын
@@KMoWearableArt Thanks for that. Do you know if it's an inkjet or laser printer? Thanks
@KMoWearableArt3 жыл бұрын
@@Amperzand I think it was a laser printer. You can also print on the old Avery label paper (remove the labels and print on that side) and perhaps freezer paper works as well, but I've only tried the Avery labels ... print, then apply gloss medium to the lino and attach the Avery print and let dry ... peel up carefully. It works great!
