This is unbelievable! I just hope she will keep her interest in music because she sure is a child prodigy. Normally I think that titel (child prodigy) is absurd and stupid - but here it fits. She is a brilliant composer! I have been playing classical music for almost 14 years and I would never be able to compete with that little girl. God bless her and her family and let her stay a child until as long as possible. I hope she will enjoy playing and composing forever.

As a DMA in Piano degree holder, I know that K. 488 piece...that was the development section of the 1st movement of that Mozart Piano Concerto, no. 23, in A minor....near the end of the development section. 8 measures of it. How can she do it? If Mozart can do it as a musical genius, Emily can definitely do it too!!!!!!

Actually she dedicated it to a PERSON who got their wish... without judgement, which is what God has called us to as well. Let us try to remember that these are people created, and loved absolutely, by Him and not just social "issues". Unevenly yoked? I'm pretty sure it doesn't get more even than this. Why is it yours to say if they are even or not? This girl shows me the love of God a lot more than negative comments do.

if you watch her segment on WGN, they interview her mother and grandmother. Neither of them seemed at all pushy or gloated that their daughter/grandchild was a prodigy - they even banned that word from the house. They just want her to be happy, and she definitely seems to be a mature and very well adjusted kid who just has a natural gift and joy in music.
