You were right the first time. Hurting others and cheating on people who love and trust you is NOT poetic, regardless of the background music. Break up first before you have an emotional affair and in this case all the way up to sex with someone else. It is selfish and cruel. Saying you are doing it not to hurt the other person is nothing but a lie. It's called infidelity for a reason and it is ugly and selfish, not beautiful. Hollywood just wants to glorify it to make more money at the box office or on TV. Faithfulness is beautiful.

Yeah. 100% agree with you. I love Gabriel and Emily together. I want them to be endgame. But the writers don't give their relationship much depth. It's always longing for each other rather than give them a whole season to be together. so we, the viewers, barely see them together. We barely get them together. There's always some dumb drama. Weather it Camille or Alfie or Emily or Gabriel too afraid to share how they really feel. I fear they will drag the Camille not telling Gabriel she's not pregnant till the end of the season as a cliffhanger. And then we'll have to wait to next season, but then they will come with another distraction for Gabriel and Emily to be together. Like this new guy in the promo for season 4 part 2. Let Gabriel and Emily be together as a couple for at least an entire season! You can create story lines while also being together

It is all because the first two seasons it was him only but later Alfie appeared and their relationship actually worked so good, Gabriel became a friend only, Emily did not show to be devastated or too hurt, yes, I know she never stopped loving him but it is just that me and I think most of the audience really saw her being in love with Alfie and happy with almost no drama, there was chemistry and season 3 just proved it so much, she was trying to save and help Gabriel but mostly as a friend, I did not see the sparkle anymore, something I do saw with Alfie. And these 5 episodes of season 4, they felt so much fake, Alfie was kind of erased, no logic, no emotions, just because of the bad writing and maybe part of the fans requesting that Gabriel will be the endgame. The show is really positive and yes, maybe unrealistic, but we live in bad times, that is why it worked, now the issue is that the writers need to decide its course… It is going to be hard and it is already visible, they need to really fix things in next 5 episodes and show us some growth, some real emotions or just ending it.

This is exactly what I thought! She and Alfie had a chance to crow organically from the start and it developed into this legitimate relationship with lots of chemistry. She had so much natural chemistry with Alfie, and not just in the bedroom but whatever they were doing and had fun while hanging out around Paris, eating at restaurants, attending both their respective work events...though it was more Emily's, staying at each other's places. Alfie would also seem happy around her and made her laugh and was naturally affectionate. He also communicated and held her accountable which she needed. With Gabriel, Emily was always throwing herself at him and pursuing him...he never was very affectionate or initiated any kissing. They seemed like good friends by mid S2 and all of S3. Gabriel also lied point blank to Alfie saying he wouldn't get ín the way of their relationship and didn't have feelings for her and they turn around in the !Masquerade episode and did a 180. And you could see there she was more carefree and happy with Alfie. Alfie deserves a loyal good girl who doesn't lie or play mind games.
