gosh I wish she didn't have to leave. She was one of the best characters. I really liked her & there was so much more we could have learned about her. She was great with George & tbh I would rather her than effie. She is also sapphic but that doesn't necessarily mean that she's gay. I would also prefer her to violet hart. Rebecca James was fun & I liked her better than Hart too but, well, emily grace was a more rounded character. (Maybe because she had more personality traits, like seriously, is "black female doctor" basically all they could come up with for rebecca james?) Emily grace deserves to come back just for an episode or an arc of episodes (even if she is not involved in all of the mysteries in them). You know it would actually be funny to see all of george's love interests meet up for a hot sec. tbh I miss a lot of the characters that have gone & I would like to see them come back every now & then. (unless theyre dead. Poor jackson. & worsley. & everyone.) Like, we got to see that lady from england every now & then. Augustus jackson, emily grace, dr roberts, gosh I miss dr roberts... I haven't heard a mention of murdoch's dead fiance in ages! I always like it when they bring back characters occasionally without them necessarily being huge parts of the plot (as in new characters like louise cherry, or even hugely important characters like myers or pendrick, tbh even the newsomes) like some of the big names who pop in from time to time. Like nikola tesla! I's very rarely in murdoch mysteries but he was there in the first episode, we pops in occasionally, even after the seasons hit double digits, but he is not super important to the series. They showed us that one girl whose boyfriend was on the rowing team who killed her fiance, she was actually like dating james pendrick or smth. & then maddie+girlie+charlotte was in julia's psych ward several seasons later. As I was saying, I miss all the dead characters, but I also miss all of the reoccurring characters who no longer appear, & I also miss the main-cast characters who left, & I wish to see them all at some point or another. Sorry I started rambling lol
