Places don’t truly understand what accessible is. Like they may have a ramp but then another walkway has a step or doesn’t go on a slant down to a curb for a chair. Our house is “handicap accessible”- but yet the bathroom totally wouldn’t be for you for daily living cuz the tub isn’t big enough for a chair and not enough room for a chair to be perfect at the sink. They said it’s accessible since the doorway is wider but that’s the only thing lol. Obviously just having a ranch house doesn’t mean it’s meant for everyone but it will work for my disability since I rarely use a chair.

It’s great to accept your disability and yourself and understand it’s a part of your life but you’re also more than it. It doesn’t mean you’re being negative it’s just what you live with and like you said it takes a lot of time to accept yourself as you are and know that you are worthy just as you are.

Yes i can’t speak for her but it definitely does make my days harder sometimes definitely not all the time!! Some days are way easier than others !! It just all depends!!
