Yeah maybe not so much ethics as PR. I think her making her view on abuse of the copyright system known multiple times was her addressing it as much as she's going to. I don't watch all of her videos anymore so I could be wrong but I noticed she stopped pushing Gerard cosmetics or at least as often.

Hi Emily! I’m part of the reply crew most of the time since I watch you from Spain! I have a friend who’s now trying to get his ex to court in west TN for issues with the parental agreement and, lawyers over there seem to be their very own special Murdaugh kind. He’s having such a hard time trying to get the lawyer to do something for him, but everyone of them are afraid to go against the ex’s family because her father used to be the town’s mayor for over 20 years 😢😢😢. So I think there’s a whole lot of bad lawyering all around in small towns, but those never make it to the news.

I just howled with laughter hearing you mention an unhinged legal office Christmas party where people were literally fighting over a Hooters gift card. Hahaha. I've worked for a defense attorney as well as an assistant prosecuting attorney, and a large law firm that included a senator with his lawyer son who had a Saudi Sheikh backing him for political aspirations towards an eventual presidential run. Unfortunately, he was convicted later after becoming Attorney General of our state. I wasn't working for the firm at that time (thankfully) as I had gone to nursing school and had entered active duty Army. I can picture the Christmas party where this stuff could happen. And it's such a funny picture in my head. Lol. Thanks Emily. You're the best!

One of my most favorite bands is Tool. The lead singer, Maynard, doesn’t like it when you record or take pictures during the show because he wants you to be in the moment and truly appreciate the music. You’re allowed to take pictures and record during the last song and he’ll announce it. During that song they’ll have amazing lights and features to make your pictures truly epic. I absolutely love this approach. I find myself doing this even when I’m not at a Tool concert.

I know more about being a judge than she does and I took only one law class years ago. She reminds me of all those who think they can spell words the way they want and hate their supervisors who require them to spell correctly. There was a story about one employee who thought she could bust her boss for requiring her to spell words correctly in her article and that she would be successful atmgetting her boos fired. WTH? What are they teaching students these days? Oh, and that podcast where the just graduated person was complaining that many job offers required experience and/or she would be paid an entry-level salary because she didn't have experience. She then equates schooling to experience and how unfair all the potential employers were being. Um...again, what are they teaching in school these days? This judge will not last long - she's admitted to knowing the other court personnel are doing things against the law but has not reported any of it as she would be required to do and that her lack of knowledge and wrong doings are not worthy of rebuke. Um....

They aren't supposed to survive, they are supposed to be doing their civic duty /s. Real talk, courts want to tout off about how important jurors are and how much they appreciate them giving up their time and lives to decide cases but don't want to pay them enough to live when some cases takes months and months to resolve. The courts appreciate their efforts but not enough to care about food in their mouths and a roof over their heads.

@@annm9589 I got curious and looked up the pay in my area (Victoria, Australia) and our pay is $40 per day for first 6 days and $80 per day for each day after and your employer has to make up the difference between that and your normal pay

Forever and always part of the replay crew ❤ I remember when this happened to Jeff, and it was horrible. The footage of it is so awful because you can see and hear Jeff hit the side of the excavator and then go limp. Also, I have always respected Jeff because he volunteered the get on the excavator because everyone else there, and most of the others were girls, were scared to participate and being pressured by David, so Jeff stepped up and did it and literally could've died. Poor guy, he definitely deserves medical bills paid and a lot of compensation.

When it comes to the court clerk, that town has a census of less than 900. Sounds like “out there” might mean “far away” or “in the middle of nowhere”. And they might have been excused from other trials due to hardship (lack of transportation). Like why keep someone who you KNOW will be excused. Why make them come in at all?

When I went to law school in 2009 (major school), a good thirty percent didn’t teach classes but just ranted about politics and insisted all class work align with them or graded down. The standards are way down. Sadly, the same is true for medical school.

Back in the 80s when I was a young teenager, I was very good at copying cartoons. My family and friends asked me to make handmade versions of Garfield and Mickey mouse saying various inappropriate things, smoking joints, etc. I stopped when someone mentioned that I could get sued. Luke Combs got played. This woman KNEW it was wrong. She has many other copyrighted images on her IG selling page. She previously worked for a company that sold promotional products. He has now opened the door for others to do the same thing in hopes of the same outcome.
