It's no secret I love snow. Being in southern Illinois, we don't get it as often as I'd like, but it's looking like the most snow we've had in years is coming Monday. There's something fun about the pre-snowstorm buzz... getting the groceries, watching the weather, hunkering down. I love it :)

I just heard your comment about snow days. As a former elementary teacher, I give you permission to declare your own snow day if schools ever stop this practice. It’s a rite of passage for growing up and provides its own special thrill and excitement. ❄️🙂

I grew up in Western MI with lake effect snow. I still remember that *thrill* of snow days (sometimes multiples). After college I transplanted to SoCal and my (now grown) kids, sadly, never experienced that snow day *thrill*. The only thing that bugs me about PF and many brands really is as soon as I find something I love they discontinue it. The glow boosting bb cream was my favorite foundation of all time. I have never found anything to replace it. I really miss that product.

I agree! I liked so many things from PF's "Healthy" line (foundation, powder, liquid lipsticks)... and they were discontinued surprisingly fast. And I felt like there was a lot of positive buzz around that line!

I bought the new Monoi bronzer and eyeliner. Love the bronzer and OMG the eyeliner! I have worn the eyeliner for 36 hours! Not because I wanted to, but because it was difficult to remove completely. I had to let it "wear off" a bit so my eye makeup remover would take it off! Even with overnight wear, I only had a few "speckles" under my eyes! I've had other eyeliners with a longevity claim, but this one surpasses all of them! May have to stock up on this eyeliner in case they decide to nix it! I love it!

As someone who grew up (and still lives in) a tropical country with no snow, I can say snow days sound like a dream come true. The only times the weather has stopped school for me was once with a hurricane tail and once with a tropical storm. Both caused intense flooding and thus it was decided it was best to cancel class. Not even a volcano going off and covering my province in ashes stopped the school days

Berry eyeshadow looks are almost as hot, popular, & on-trend right now as the super warm tones were like 2-3 yrs ago (Naked Heat, Tartelette Toasted, etc, etc etc)! And there’s nothing more flattering on a cool undertone than those gorgeous rich purples, burgundies, maroons, reds, plums, lavenders, taupes, greys & silvers! Ive waited YEARS for these delicious cool tones to sort of “take center stage” in the makeup industry & bcz i have such a SUPER cool undertone to my skin, I’m having a lot of fun right now bcz these are my shades! Don’t get me wrong, I totally love those super warm tones too but if I’m being honest, they’re nowhere near as flattering on me. I’m actually enjoying how it’s sort of like our turn now (us cool lovers). 💜👍😇

Best mascara combo: Ulta's Sky Heights mascara as a primer- it does a great job of creating volume and holding a curl at the base of the lashes. Then go in with a lengthening mascara (I use Essence Lash Princess). Curl, volume, length. Bingo bango, pickle mango.

As a whole I really do enjoy Physician's Formula products with the butter bronzers and blushes being among my favorites. I also really like the Mineral Pressed Powder with SPF 30 for my maturing skin. It is great to layer over sunscreen during the late spring/summer months. Their mascara formulations were rarely a hit for me.

I really like this foundation. I've been using it for about two weeks without primer. I completely agree with you about the amount you need to use it can easily get pretty cakey but if you find the sweet spot with the amount it if truly a beautiful foundation and it has a long wear time. I don't mind the smell but I can see how it would bother some. I think physicians formula heard everybody talk about how they love the smell of their bronzer and they ran with it and added that butter stuff to everything. I wonder if they will keep this line around very long or discontinue it like they did everything else? Lol! I really love the new wet and wild tinted moisturizer as well. By the way... I love your berry toned eyeshadow looks. Don't listen to the naysayers. I'm so excited about the snowstorm coming... I live in the south and I don't get to see it very much. We could get up to a foot in total from several rounds of snow starting tomorrow and ending on Thursday! I think the low Monday night is 2 degrees with a wind chill of -10. Crazy stuff! Just picked up the foundation and you are so right! A brush is not the way to apply it, because stream city! I find that the Physicians Formula felt tip eyeliner pen is the easiest eyeliner to use from the brand! I love it and I have been able to produce some great looks with it! Beautiful face of makeup Em! But I see your point about ease of application!
