They seem to have brought so much joy after a tough loss you all had last year. I know how difficult that can be. I picked up this concealer last weekend and I'm in love! I have dry skin and can't use most concealer because they are too dry and cause my under-eye to look crappie. Not the Butter concealer, it covers amazingly and wears beautifully with no creasing!

So I totally agreed with you. The other week I was watching a youtuber in her 50s raving about this concealer bc it didn’t crease. I went to Ulta and they didn’t have it but I found it at Walmart. Again only three shades. I am towards a lighter olive shade and I got light to medium and it works for me. I couldn’t believe how hydrating and non cakey nor creasy it was on my extremely dry skin.

I love the butter blushes and the butter blowout mascara. I usually use the maybelline instant age rewind concealer, I might try this one next time I need a new one! (2023, trying the "no buy" unless something needs replacing...hard to do when new things look so good!!)

I am an adoptive mom of two African American daughters. The amount of anger and frustration that I have had when my daughters started getting into makeup! I felt so sad having to take them to multiple stores or websites trying to find makeup for their skin tones. it made them feel so different by realizing stores and brands didn’t care to make/carry makeup products for them.

Non inclusive shade range but Walmart is even more to blame if they accept to distribute only three shades! At least at Target’s, they sell the six shades and some of them are very dark. I never really understood why people get bent out of shape about some sponge tops (like this or the Maybelline Age Erase) but not over others (like Charlotte Tilbury) or doe foot applicators for concealers/blush/lipglosses. Aren’t doe foots (especially for lipgloss) even more unsanitary?

I don’t bother with Phy formula, Almay and most of the drugstore brands that don’t have the deeper shades in stores. Why I prefer high end fully stocked in Sephora and Ulta.

Emily. The butter powder you used as a blush, is the same setting glow powder you used on your face, just for deeper skin tones. It wasn't marketed as a blush, because it's not. Lol. Does make for a beautiful blush on your skin, but that shade was formulated as the glow setting powder for darker skin tones. 😄

❤️ this concealer is for mature skin. Your mom would love it too. A little goes a long way. Less is more. The scent doesn't bother me. Since it's under my eyes. Sometimes, I don't even set it. Light brightens. Highly recommend 👌. Just found it a week before you. Blends like a dream. Very hydrating. If you are oily under the eyes don't recommend it. The same color you demonstrated. ❤️ that you find those hidden gems. I think if you use a tiny Blending brush you will enjoy it. 😉

It's not a blush, it's the same glow powder she used all over her face, but for deeper skin tones. Lol I agree though, works beautifully as a blush. But wanted to clarify in case you're looking in the blushes and can't find it. It's the new glow face powder in the deep shade.

I’m gunna try the concealer with more mature skin the thinner the better . My fine lines love to be accentuated by thicker concealers . 😮 . I use Lancôme and it’s silky and lovely but expensive. Yay thanks Emily 😊

I like Physicians Formula a lot, I haven't tried that concealer bc it's not in stores (they carry very little PF, unfortunately). Loved the review and I just wished you did your eyeshadow on camera. I don't care about Tarte, it's about the process of applying eyeshadow 😍 that I enjoy sooo so much. I’ll be on the lookout for this! I’m intrigued! I typically use the ELF hydrating camo concealer & love it. But some days I’d like a thinner consistency. I love some of the products in this line. The foundation wears nicely on my drier skin. It looks great for a good 12 hr shift at work. I haven’t tried the powders yet though bc I’m pretty loyal to the Photo Focus powder. Great video as Always. Love P F products. Using Dream Team for full face. This video put me in mind. That Rose blush on the eyelids Satin! Darker bronzer in crease and now with the concealer, I'm going for it. Lightweight under eyes is what I need and you blended so beautifully. Thanks for the review. I'll try out this concealer. I was actually looking at the butter range at my walmart here in Nova Scotia, Canada and in my area it's lacking with a majority of new releases. But this concealer is there and as you mentioned some people don't like the heaviness of shape tape "dupes". And I'm one of those people. I also have very crape-y under eyes and all concealers look heavy on me and I'm 37 with perimenopause. So I definitely will be trying this out.

I saw this concealer a few days ago at my local Walmart, no special display either, just in between PF regular section, I almost missed it too, there were the same three shades (awful shade range) 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I actually grabbed the one I thought would work for me (Med-Tan) but since I hadn't heard much about it (only Vianney Strick's review) I ended up not buying it, I put it in my wishlist for later though 😆... love your videos... hugzzz 💜

Tried this concealer and set it with no. 7 lift and luminate pressed powder. Looked great. A few hours later it separated like crazy had me looking awful had to wash my face. Never had a concealer do that. Maybe you have to use the whole line or try different powders to find the one that holds it together but who has time for all that. It wears well on you?

Hi Em!! I always look forward to your videos! When i have a busy week I take time on the weekends to get caught up. I really appreciate you being there for me. I really wish i could try the Physicians Formula foundations/concealers but they still don't understand that very fair skinned people exist. They really need to put some time, effort and money until expanding their shade range in every direction!! Understanding undertones is extremely important. I hope someday they get the message. Until then, I'll spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.

Amazon also carries all of the shades. But the question to ask is WHY aren't all the shades offered in store? I find that drugstores such as CVS and Walgreens are mostly guilty of this. I never go to Walmart in person (only shop there online) so I can't attest to what they carry in store around here.
