I actually saw another creator use that shadow as blush and it was stunning!! I’m so wanting that palette, but I just bought the UD Naked Honey palette because it was 50% off on their website. I’ve been so busy with work (I’m an RN) and homeschooling my 3 kids, that I’ve been using mostly cream shadows/sticks with maybe bronzer or blush in the crease. But you’ve really sold me on that palette. I’ll reassess in 2 weeks and see if I’m still wanting it!! Emily I just wanted to let you know I've tried for over a hour to buy this from your link and I'm unable to check out. I tried on 4 different devices. Idkw is wrong I even signed out and back in. I would love to see your take on the video Allie Glines did in collaboration with Samantha March. They came up with different categories for eyeshadow palettes then picked out palettes that fit in each catagory from their own collections. I would be interested to see what palettes you would choose for each catagory. I would especially be intetested in seeing the palettes you would pick for the catagories: Palette that lived up to the hype and Palette that did not live up to the hype. I would also like to see catagories you might add and the palettes you would choose for those catagories or even doing something like this for different makeup products, like blush or lipstick. I like your opinion on products and have not disliked a product I have bought due to your recommendation. I enjoy just listening to you talk about your life and family and your take on events or the things going on around you. You provide an escape from the stress of what is going on and providing something normal to my routine. I like to watch the Emily Awards playlist if I am feeling down and it always succeeds in making me happy again. I am so glad I found your channel a couple years ago. I used to work for Lancôme and now work for Clinique. When applying the lash primers, try to not let the primer dry before adding the mascara. Its meant to go on while its wet so the primer can bond with the mascara. Yes, less is more when it comes to the primer. Just a tip to try. It will give u an even better dramatic result for length and volume. BTW... Love everything you do 🥰 Never miss a video!

Courtney thank you for your info!! So is there no concern of the formula of the lash primer mixing with the mascara - changing its formula (like as it gets on the brush and goes back into the tube) and diluting the darkness? Totally open to trying it this way, just wondering. I feel like I learn something new everyday with this lash primer stuff!! :D

@@emilynoel83 I have never had any issues with it changing the color or the texture of my mascara. Working at Lancôme I went through quite a bit of training and we were always told to apply the mascara as quickly as possible to the primer to get it to adhere to it better. I have been thinking the same thing all along. I never let my lash primer dry, go over it with mascara pretty much right away...

Yeah, I use a Lancome lash Primer almost every time I do makeup, I never let it dry because I feel it makes the mascara more difficult to layer up. I've never had an issue with it effecting my mascara formulas. And I'm not loyal when it comes to mascara. I've done that technique with a lot of them. The only thing I'd watch out for is if the primer has fibers. Sometimes a few of the little fibers will get in your mascara tube after a bit if you use the same primer/mascara combination a lot.

PSA: you need a 1/2 teaspoon of sunscreen to properly cover your face and neck! I highly recommend measuring it our with a measuring spoon to get a feel for how much that is, it’s a ton! Stay safe in the sun as we start to get into warmer weather! ❤️☀️

Donna Young I’ve seen Dr Frey’s video about how much to put on and I have watched her put product on herself in many videos. She highly contradicts herself. She puts on more than a 1/4. Her information is good I’m sure. The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends a nickel size dollop. The Cancer Council Australia and Consumer Reports recommend a full tsp. I’m sure if a person puts on a nickel size dollop or more, they’ll be covered very well.

If because of the glow of the product it wouldn't work to do so then I'd stick to layering, and just use that primer for the glow and grip.

Our kids used to love the Friday night camp out downstairs. It was a family favorite. Now that they are a little bit older they stay down by themselves which, for them, is all the more exciting. They do stay up way too late but with it being Friday night it really doesn't matter.They watch movies and play games. They enjoy it so much.

Emily! When my kiddos were your girls age we had the ugliest couch you’ve ever seen. I mean straight from the 70s ugly. BUT it was a pull out....so there was a time when my husband wasn’t working and we would stay up super late watching movies and we only had a tv in the living room so we would pull out the pull out and sleep on the couch bed instead of our bed lol We finally got rid of that hideous thing and the kids still talk about when we used to all sleep in the living room!! 😂

Hey Emily, you need 0.04 fl oz or 1ml of sunscreen to be effective also it needs to set for about 5 mins before makeup application. Clinique City Block is an excellent SPF with Supergoop as a primer, great video x

Check your primer. Some of them (Loreal Lash Primer) says to only do one eye at a time and not to let the primer dry before doing your mascara. It has been a game-changer for me when I am doing my mascara.

Oh I needed your smile, cheery voice and humor today. Then watching you create such a gorgeous eyelook so effortlessly. It was a joy. I too love my TwoFaced palette. I must confess the main reason I purchased it initially was for the packaging. I just had to have that beautiful lacy component sitting on my dresser. Then the shadows blew me away. I use it more than my ND, Viseart and even my Lancôme. They are neutral everyday perfection. And bonus, they are made in our good ole U.S.of A. Going to wave my flag here a bit. I am making it a new resolution to do my best to purchase any type of product made here at home. I did work in the cosmetic industry for 32 years and I can tell you that Made in China can bring with it many a chemical or bacteria you would not want even near your face. I confess I am really getting tired of red palettes and red looks. Probably because they make me look like I have the flu! :-). Truthfully I just don’t think they are flattering, even to someone as gorgeous as Emily. It’s like the red shadow is all you see instead of naturally enhancing someone’s looks. Living room camp outs and fort building are so much fun! My nieces love it. I've even made smores out of dads oatmeal chocolate cookies and just microwave the marshmallow on it for 20 seconds. So yum!

You’ll have to apply a lot more sunscreen to actually get protection. It’s recommended to use 1/2 teaspoon for your face and neck. If your chest is going to be exposed it would be best to apply sunscreen there, too. Most sunscreens that have the texture of a primer can’t be applied in the amount they need to be. They will feel too thick and heavy. One that I have really been enjoying is Farmacy’s Green Defense.

I have way too many bronzers and they are mostly all high end despite the fact that I love to buy drugstore makeup. The one that I reach for most of the time is my Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten in Fair.For the summer months they have it in an extra large compact that comes with a really nice brush. This stuff blends into the skin like magic. With my pale skin tone most bronzers are just too difficult to blend in and have them look natural. The Bronze and Brighten in Fair is just perfect for me. After using foundation and concealer it gives just the right amount of contour to my face or just on it's own over some translucent powder works wonders. I don't even use blush many times. It just makes a very natural looking face with some natural contour.

Another cheat with the Laura Geller Bronze and brighten is to use the bronze with a light hand on the yes and use your eye shadow brushes to pull the lighter tones out of the swirls and create and eye look. Super simple and a full eye, cheek, and bronzer from one product. I used to love the Pie pan with the blush, bronze and glow, and the highlight she had - It was the size of your hand but you only needed that one compact a mascara and a lippie and you could be on your way! Shame they stopped making most of their tried and true baked favorites. I loved the brand before she sold it. The blushes are still a solid favorite though.

Loving the rimmel lip colour. I always find your lippy recommendations spot on and have never been disappointed when I've purchased some of them... Love them. The palette looks pretty, my eyes are so dark brown that they look black and pink, Berry shades are perfect on me. Only thing is the colours looked different from the palette on your eyes. The pink 1st crease colour looked orangery when you applied it before the apricot shade. The Berry looked lovely on the lid corner but as soon as it was buffed out it started to look orange again. Not sure if it's the palette, your bright lights or that I'm watching you on my echo 8.

The makeup looks amazing. I have been really noticing a difference when I use the Milani Violet One lash primer when I apply my mascara, it really is helping keep the lashes lifted. Hi Em! Hope baby Rhet gets his sleep groove back. I just wanted to tell you that I bought PF Saucy Mauve after your glowy blush dupes video and holy moly....it's gorgeous!! It looks beautiful on the skin and smells so good! There were only 2 shades available at the store, thank goodness one was Saucy Mauve. The applicator it comes with though is so strange! I found an awesome combo for lashes. The Lancome eyelash primer and the Stila Huge extreme lash mascara.... I love it.

I do 2 coats of lash primer but I do comb through between layers. It’s very nourishing to lashes and improves the wear of just about ant mascara. Lash Paradise primer is my jam.

I would love to use supergoo but I think they only have one that is a mineral sunscreen. I can not use chemical sunscreens.I love the look of the glowy sunscreen. It snowed here in NY. Hapoy Mother's Day!

You might like the Supergoop unseen spf. I got a sample of that and liked it. It’s like a primer, has that silicone feel to it. Fills in pores... try it out! I’ll have to look into the glow spf. Supergoop hasn’t done me wrong yet!

In my experience, the Foundcealer does NOT play well with primers, especially ones with silicone! I apply a good moisturizer, wait for it to soak in/dry down, and then I apply the foundcealer.
