i waited ten YEARS for this season.
incase ya didn't know - i'm a stupidly big Kuroshitsuji fan. the manga has had my heart since my angel friend (lostgh0st_art on insta!!) introduced me to the franchise when we were about 13 years old. little did he know, he would create a monster.
ANYWAY
i heard this song for the first time, exactly 24 hours ago. i immediately translated it and set about recording a demo. HUGE thanks to my wonderful cast mates at 12Below for listening and giving me some feedback and tips - you guys are the best!!! ˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗

This is absolutely mindblowing! It's almost unbelievable that you were able to produce such a masterpiece on such an impossibly short notice. I love how powerful yet flexible your vocals are, going from airy and breathy to full on screamo wildness lmao. Also, relatable! My 13yo self is squealing with happiness right now!! Your voice is marvellous!!!!! I had exactly 0 expectations when I clicked on this and I was blown away on every level!???? I'm dumbstruck???? You managed to perfectly match the energy and the ~crisp~ of the original and even improve on it! I absolutely love the vibrato you do on the high notes and the way your voice cracks on the key moments. Your voice acting and the translation are also splendid, I felt fully immersed in the atmosphere of the song. I wanna both fangirl and further analyse but the emotions make me feel like screaming at the top of my lungs to show my appreciation haha certainly takes me back to my teenage years (In fact I think after the hiatus my hyperfixation on black butler is stronger than ever now lol). I fell in love with this song and keep falling more after every repeat so thank you for your wonderful contribution to my obsession!

How does one get a tone as beautiful as yours z?

you're too kind ;w; tbh my tone is a weird one bc it's NOTHING like my speaking voice AHAH. i sing from a place that resonates super comfortably in my vocal folds and then (on top of that) add in the 'cry' technique - which makes it a little more mellow-y and spikes the emotion too! i feel i have a very monotone speaking voice so it helps to convey the emotions i want when singing ＼(^ω^＼) it's all trial and error tho! i've only developed my most recent sound in the last 10 months and, at the end of the day, it's all about what's healthy for your voice! sorry for the essay lol! thanks so much for listening ♥
