You can made a mold of things you like, like the mushrooms, and you can make more of them in other colors! Using 2 part silicone clay would work great!

A quick tip; the stencils work better when you use a sponge to apply paint rather than a brush. That way you can build an even layer and you won't end up with brush strokes in the paint.

Thanks for the tip! I was thinning my polish with a bit of non acetone polish remover 🙄 never thought to apply it differently. Just assumed my polish was the problem 😫🤣

@@sapphirejones7302 you should never use polish remover to thin polish, it is designed to break down the chemical bonds in the polish and will ruin it over time. There is special nail polish thinner you can buy so invest in some if your polish is too thick.

For the little confetti paper thingies, have you ever tried the little uv flash light with the stamper on the end OMG!!! It is a game changer for these things. You just press it over the nail and it holds down everything as it cures it. If you don’t have one it’s a must have.

Hey Emily, FYI if you like a little bit thicker of a base coat or adhesive gel, daily charms base coat is amazing and it’s nice and thick. I think you’ll like it. 😉 Edit: Also, I just noticed that the Bling adhesive that you used from daily charm the sealer is actually meant to just seal your charms after you’ve adhered them. They actually have a better adhesive gel for charms….. they’re meant to work in tandem.

When it comes to getting charms to sit on the nail shape, I have seen other creators put a dual form over the charms and a nail clip to hold it...then cure...The dual form sandwiches the charms while curing 🥰🥰

A good tip if you're ever wary about the opacity of a gel tip you want to apply is to apply using acrylic instead of gel. That way you can be 100% certain that there's not uncured gel touching your nail for an extended period of time, which can be super hazardous. Honestly, I don't even apply gel tips with gel anymore, I always use acrylic. It's so much easier. I don't ever have to worry that I'm curing a nail on crooked b/c there's time to fix it and clean up the edges before the acrylic cures. I'll never go back to gel unless I'm worried about offending someone with the smell of monomer lol.

@@christinaleubert9611 That's actually something I do with pretty much every new nail set I make b/c it lets me do much more intricate and time-consuming designs. What I like to do is actually use my drill to thin out the gel tips to be basically paper thin before I start. Gives me more room to work. This way I never end up making Big Bertha nails LOL! I lay down the product, usually acrylic, and I also do a very thorough job of filing and shaping so they look as close to a sculpted nail as possible. I test the shape on my silicone hand if I've got nails on at the time to make sure they look nice, or I'll regularly test it on my own hand if my nails are naked. I then prep my nails for a fresh acrylic set, drill the rest of the gel tip out of the back of the nail b/c I've found the nails tend to stick even better when I'm sticking acrylic to acrylic but also because that's just what you should do before sticking a nail tip on in general, and apply with acrylic.
