Ive been looking for this song about 10 years, i don't know how it is possible but i had forgotten about this song and YESTERDAY somehow thought about this song and realized ill never find it. I remember hearing it in 2002 as a kid, but couldnt remember any lyrics, so it was almost impossible to find it. Today i watched a random car video with this playing in background. I grabbed my phone and used shazam and i finally found it! I can't believe it, after 10 years :D

I never listen to Moby's music, but this song is very important to me: when I was an 11 or 12 year-old-boy my father brought me, my mother and my brother to a special place to enjoy our vacations. My father drove his old grey FIAT Tipo for almost 2 hours and during the trip we saw only clouds and rain in the sky, so everyone of us thought that our vacation was ruined. My father was very calm and when we arrived to the place (North-West of Sardinia) he said: "Ok, let's stop and have a breakfast. Don't mind about the weather, just think about the breakfast". We entered in a bar and we ordered our breakfast (croissants, coffee and other italian stuff, you know). There was a TV on a wall and THIS song was playing on MTV. Suddenly, at 1:50, all the clouds were gone and a bright sun appeared in the sky. Everything was wet and a lot of droplets were running on the window panes because the previous rain, so everything started to shine like diamonds. My father looked out of the window pane and smiled, putting his Ray-Ban on. That day me and my brother enjoyed a super day in the beach, playing in a crystal clear water. It was great. Sometimes I think about my father. I miss him. But it's ok: there are other worlds than this. He's only driving his FIAT Tipo in another one, with a different destination, with different passengers.

That's because as you get older, you learn less and less. Childhood seems so long because you're at school 5 days a week and learning new things, triggering long term memories to be created, thus when you look back it seems like it was around forever. As adults, we are programmed to work and do the same thing every day until we retire, hardly learning anything new, meaning you don't trigger as many long term memories, making your days seem faster and faster.
@Dedecayed Жыл бұрын

This is a track that takes me back to 1999' The year that I first went to Ibiza with great friends and went with Manumission holidays. I instantly go back to that summer as soon as I hear these sounds from that great musical year! The year I worked on Friday night as a resident DJ at Sophisticats, Westminster's First Lapdance Club as featured on the Sky TV series, Naked in Westminster Fridays I used to play more Club style tracks and the great staff and managers used to love it, as did I... And the roadie that often offered to carry my cd bags at the time 😜 It was a year while I was still 'Twice Weekly Resident at London's Infamous Limelight Nightclub, and this was often dropped in my sets, even though I was playing the 70s & 80s nights in the basement, I still used to mix it up a bit ... What a turning point for Mody, taking him from Coffee Shops in New York to international superstardom and creating an Album that still helps define an era Sit back, listen and you can picture the end of the last Millennium, a time when life seemed less disruptive, the Euro Currency was only just about to begin, the London Eye was still getting constructed, and nobody was yet panicking about the millennium bug that wasn't to be... I’ve never heard this song before , Just a few minutes ago I listened it on tv, and my impressions were instantly melancholy and sadness, I read many comments saying that this song bring back memories, I haven’t got any but listening this song makes me feel like i'd have one.
Mobi and Enya are one of those artis that you don't listen every day but when one of their song plays it touch your soul.

Hello person reading this, if this reaches anyone. we're from different parts of the world, we lead different lives, we are different people. but yet, this piece, this video, has brought us together. and I will never meet you, but just remember we're still connected by this piece- by simply listening to it, together. it's crazy how the internet can bring people together, huh? and I hope you're doing more than "okay," and if you aren't, remember: you will be okay, and that's a promise. please be easy on yourself- it's been a tough year, I know, but we're almost over it, and you will be happy. I don't know how much you'll remember of this, but I'm glad that our lives intertwined in this little way. have a nice day, or night, and lastly, nice life…

I remember hearing this song when I was about five years old. I can still picture it clearly: me and my mum were driving in a car. Unfortunately, I didn't know English at that time, so later it was impossible for me to find the song. Remembering only the word "Goodbye" and persistence helped to me find this masterpiece! So here I am :) moby is my eternal love
