This song helped me guarantee my future when I was a teen .. In my country, Iran, you have to take a national university exam to enter grad school competing with hundreds of thousands of students just like you to get the chance and be among the few hundreds who go to good public universities for free ... You only had 250 minutes to dump all the knowledge you got in 4 years of high school ... only one shot! It doesn't matter if you're sick that day or you get to seat under a window without a shade ... I was way behind my competition ... ranking 2000+ in preliminary exams just 3-6 weeks behind the final exam day ... The Judgment Day ... This song plus "Loose Yourself" and "Run Rabbit Run" helped me fight back to go after what I deserved ... I had listened to these songs Evey Day and every hour to motivate myself and not give up! I ended up ranking 121 among the Nation and entered the best school without having to pay a dime! 15 years from then ... I have realized another dream ... I'm here in U.S. , secured 3 graduate degrees so far and now working for a fortune 6 company ... NEVER EVER GIVE UP! A true story and a message from heart to all young people who want to change things for the better.

Insane story telling, no fillers, every line sounds unique. So, I think we all know Eminem is a fucken genius. For me the Marshall Mathers LP is such a chimaera of a thing - screaming dark poetry into the formless void; a shot of adrenaline and vitriol straight to the fucken heart. But having been given the creative opportunity to step away from himself and to get outside his own mind, Eminem's work on 8 Mile, through (amongst other things) its ability to remain separate and controlled, achieves a kind of universality greater than his more directly personal work (which, though brilliant, carries the injury of his proximity to it). Just that small step of separation between the art and the actuality allows Em's 8 Mile work an incredible freedom, and (in my humble opinion, obviously) makes it amongst the best work he has ever done. I love the whole soundtrack, but Rabbit Run is flawless.

I'm not gonna lie I've been playing bottom of the barrel 4A football and when I just get passed over by some of the coaches or when I can't get my shit down I get pissed and this song is so god damn relatable. That feeling when you get rejected it eats at you and unless you know how to get pissed enough to push yourself to the brink to get better it will devour you.

It's relatable and it's got a hungry motive behind it. This song is his best my opinion.

I am glad that Em' got me through my tough childhood ( I am 30 today)! I feel bad for kids nowadays who are going through the same thing and doesn't have someone as we had Em' back in time to count on! Kids if you are watching this, his songs can help you! At least they did help me not to commit suicide!

I'm from Mexico, I started to hear and try to sing this song since 2016-2017 those days where so hard, I lived in a dangerous neighborhood and got a lot of pressure because my divorce... a lot of things happened to me but... I could make my life better... so much better :)

This was the day I ran away from home... "I'm sorry momma, but I'm not following your footsteps, I'm making my own" That's the day I couldn't go back to my home... I was in an abusive household, I know every word from this song. He gave me a reason to live when I wanted to die. "Don't be afraid to make mistakes and loose everything you have because when you have nothing you have everything to gain." - That's what I learned from this song. That's how I was able to make the leap and change everything I had wrong in my life. Now I'm happily living on my own, on my way to graduating :-) no more violence in my life.

Man Em is on another level. he put us into every mood on his songs. no one can reach the level of The Rap God, GOAT. Some put 2pac, Big, Rakim on their top tier so do i. But man em hits just different. He can make every types of music. This is why he is special and most famous. I respect all rappers who improve the culture but for me Em is the GOAT all around.
