The fact they say "He killed most the album in the first 13 seconds..." while also showing they could barely understand everything he was saying, shows how lazy people are with reviewing the album. I love the album as well, people need to understand that people evolve, despite how so many fans stay stuck in the same spot for decades. Like he said in Rap God, "Morphin' into an immortal, coming through the portal, you're stuck in a time warp from 2004 though".

Bro he DID kill it like this in the album. He rivals Rap God with his last verse on Offended, he kills it on the last half of Untouchable, his verses for Framed were insane, Tragic Endings and Believe were both phenomenal and at the same time Castle and Arose were beautifully emotional songs. I think this album is seriously underrated

Here's the thing for me; people tend to box artists into a certain category and if they don't follow the same formula and do the same thing at all times, the people start bitching. But there's also people who will bitch & moan if they stick with the same sound "why can't you change it up? all your shit sounds the same..." He's an artist, he decided to think outside the box a bit. Eminem isn't 25 anymore, he's a grown man who's been through a TON and he made the album HE wanted to make. He's in a league of his own really. He's reached that status and point in his career where he doesn't need to compete with anyone, he has nothing left to prove! Again, my opinion!
@PrimeraEspadaStark6 жыл бұрын
Walk on Water was artwork. He was being vulnerable and expressing his insecurities, just as he has on older albums, coupled with a beautiful chorus from the Queen Bee. The "hooks" on Revival do not detract from his skill or the subject matter.

@@RyLifeWeekly My friend one thing you need to know is that *Eminem can never produce Bad Music* it's just not in his Dna. So whenever you think a eminem song is bad just know that you have no clue of what *Rap* truly is.Revival is not in comparison with other Rappers *Eminem only gets compared to Eminem.* Say what you wanna say but Revival was the Best Album of 2017.The Sheer Real talk he has for subjects like Racial Barriers,Feminism, Misogny,Whealth,Politics on that one Album is Insane You can't understand the album because you haven't been there you don't know the True Darkness,Sadness and Despair this world Forces upon others.It was a magnificent Album Lyrically and Literally fine it was a little off Regular Status of what Eminem's Music is according to beats and Flow just a little Off,But it still Was a little Humorous and the beats were Ok they weren't so bad but the way he described the pain and agony people suffer from due to Social Pressure.And the Lyrics on some songs of that Album were just Wonderful if you want me to give it a rating status the max i'll take down due to the beats and a little sloppy Flow on some songs and some of the Pointless and off topic Humor i'll take it down to *8/10* Because that Album has too much storytelling and most of the songs have Wonderful lyricism in them and i love the fact that he finally Revealed How he sees the world and he highlighted so much truth in that Album that you just can't ignore Not enough Metaphors,Wordplay or Good Enough beats But when it comes to what he actually talked about and the Lyrics he jotted down for it It Was a brilliant Album Could'a been better but was still Highly Acceptable.

Until the rap starts and using old songs like zombie and “i love rock n roll”) but I think that his lyrics and the message that he is conveying. His rhymes and homophones are flawless as always. I think that he is still a battle rapper at heart and that he needs that hate to come back even stronger and proof everyone wrong. Therefore, his next album will be bomb!

Revival wasn't bad he was very lyrical on it. It was the beats and the hooks ppl had issues with. But Em was killing tracks maybe not spazzing on it but it wasn't bad as many hip hop heads would have you believe. The album was more of a rock/pop album sprinkled with a little hiphop. But Ems storytelling and lyricism are as strong as they've ever been. People were expecting too much so when they listen to it and those expectations were not met they couldn't really appreciate the album for what it was and thus said it was crap when it was actually a masterpiece especially with songs like a rose and castle.

You guys missed the line where he targets you “So you sat with your arms crossed did your little reaction videos and talked over songs” because you were literally doing just that, you talked over it and didn’t react to it. I was looking forward to seeing that

Because he was talking about joe and ak i swear y’all think he cares about KZbinrs like that....it’s Em...that’s like Jay-Z giving a fuck about KZbin Channels 🙄

InTheClutch Ent I think he was actually referring to KZbinrs, and so do all the other people who reacted to this song that I’ve seen. It’s mad funny when they hear it

he made an album for his pop fans to get alot of hate from people from the rap fan base to hype him up like he did with relaspe then he made recovery.. sense that album he went off on this remix and then catipiller with royce ..hes got a rap album coming at the end of 2018 to shut up all the fans saying hes to old

You guys are great. You said hottest verse of 2018, homie in my opinion that is Eminem’s greatest verse of all time. You guys got it though, you know your shit and you are funny as hell!

Lol no one seen this coming. He let it out! The negative critics and reaction videos want to throw shots lol he’ll come back but even harder! He’ll never lose it and he never left. He’s been here and always will be. I love this song! My computer over heated and won’t turn back on anymore from having it on repeat.

@CliftonCoffeeChannel6 жыл бұрын
Wrong. This was not in response to Joe. Joe doesn’t make “reaction videos and talk over songs”. He also says “Y’all” meaning he was talking to multiple people and what do you know, the same people reacting to the album were reacting to the track list. But a lie sounds better than the truth, right? Anyway... let’s see how this reaction goes.

InTheClutch Ent I hear what you saying and I understand why you might think that, but to me that line was not towards Joe and Akademics. It’s the reaction videos that dissed walk on water and the album, not necessarily you guys. Anyone that’s seen the video of Akademics and Budden, clearly see Budden does not diss Eminem...But Akademics roasts Eminem.

I think he made a super personal, political, rock sampled, pop featured, no rap featured, odd singled, odd marketed, non hip hop album that only his most hardcore fans would love. His stories have more meaning than any work since TES and so many fans have said that. This album was not for hip hop which does make me think he had an angle. People have been asking for Shady for 15 years and this does set it up for him to spaz. Like if he was that mad with the album ppl would be ??? now ppl are liking it and being pissed on the album will sound reasonable. Anyways next album will be ALL hip hop with features.

I don't buy it. I understand what you're saying to an extent, we want to see Eminem "spazzing" on a track, but this whole "Where was this on revival?" or "Where was this on 'Walk on Water'?" just seems inane. Maybe it's because he actually wants to convey a message on tracks, his thoughts about life, politics... his daughter, ex wife, etc. you know... ACTUAL creative narrative for people to relate to? And he DID spaz out on quite a few songs moreso on the second half of his album, I think he still exercised more lyricism than 99% of the artists these days even when coming short to fans. The point I'm making is I feel like its a damned if he does, damned if he doesn't for him in making an album-- if he just makes tracks like No Favors or Chloraseptic and spazzes, fans will say "...yeah I wasn't feeling it, it was just a bunch of filler and fast rapping" and if he comes with too many tracks that focus on substance, ppl will piss and moan that he wasn't snapping. Truthfully I think its his job to come up with a better balance, and I hold Em accountable for having too much of slow songs, but I also see the double standard when I scroll down videos of No Favors and see nothing but fans whining that they're not impressed, these people can go fuck themselves or go make a rap track themselves if they're so critical.

That album is amazing, the storytelling and everything were nothing short of top notch, nobody can do what he does rap wise, choose any aspect of rap and he can do it better than anyone you name, he was political way back in the day, people hating on him for that now doesn t make much sense to me, maybe the album was too personal for people to dig it, kendrick s classics are like that but i guess hypocrisy is part of our genes
