The music video is about his fans he basically says that if he wants to become more successful he's gonna have to be more mainstream and the lady represents his old fans and as you can see the screen becomes brighter which means more mainstream and in the the end the girl leaves (the old fans) it basically says it in the lyrics "i think ill be different and I hope you'll still listen"
