I always thought he was referencing the Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts and the two crashes that occurred shortly before MBMB came out, caused by a fatal flaw in the MCAS system of the planes that would detect that the nose was too up (erroneously) and would push the nose down automatically to compensate and prevent a stall.
