The problem with Em’s music back in this era was that it was too good, seriously. The flows are so complex that the average person can’t wrap their head around them. A lot of lines just sound like random words unless you listen closely, he is rapping actual messages in the most complex rhyme schemes imaginable. This song is so genius lyrically/flow wise, when he says “I never packed a tool or acted cool, it wasn’t practical, I’d rather let tactical, tactful track tickle your fancy, in fact I can’t see, or can’t imagine, a man who ain’t a lover of beats or a fan of scratchin” that line shows a truly insane mastery of the English language and how it rhythmically interacts with a beat to make rap. He delivers it in the most complex, atypical way, it’s proof that Em has an extremely unique mind when it comes to processing language. Once in a lifetime wordsmith. He’s a far better wordsmith than he is a musician, and I’m not saying he’s a bad musician, so take that how you will.

Funny cause I've heard people say infinite was just meaningless rhymes. But its definitely not. My only gripe is its kinda in that old school mentality of "my rhymes are the best and nobody is on my level" . Regardless of how good this song was its tainted by all the crappy rappers that cant think of anything to say so they use the theme of being the best. So that's the only reason why this song isn't in my top 5 because a lot of rappers used this theme and its not very creative. Eminem and few others could pull it off proper it was mostly used by rappers who were not elites so they'd just say they were lol.

The first time I heard this song was when I decided to put it on at work, and it absolutely blew my mind; I had to stop what I was doing and sit down to take it all in.
