Not true. In terms of lyrics and flow this album is better than SSLP and possibly MMLP. Punchlines are debateable. The beats and production are obviously different era but Dre's old beats will always be the best. Overall this album is definitely on the same level as his first 3 albums.

Em is a case of how Hip-Hop truly saved his life. He doesn't turn it into a passion like just other artists. It's his life. He lives and breathes the essence of what Hip-Hop was meant to be. It's always funny to me how this generation now wants to cancel him, but they don't understand the true meaning of legacy and longevity anymore it seems. It's a good thing we have some new artists who were raised on these lessons and are making the effort to keep that ideal and morally alive.

I been listening to em since I was 9 that was in '99 and I loved that feeling of tearing the plastic off the CD it was so smooth and the sound it made gave you goosebumps like Christmas... and not to be weird but the smell of that booklet inside can never be copied.
