I make the .cdg file with Karaoke Builder Studio. Then I use Karafun to convert it into a video file, and then VideoConverterUltimate to convert the 240p video into 1080p for youtube. I've never used Sony Vegas before, so I haven't got a clue how it works, sorry.

I would love to but I don't think we'll ever see instrumentals of Temple of the Dog released. Even Rock Band never put out a track, and they go back a few decades at this point ... so we're unlikely to see a promo disk surface. The best hope is probably if they put a track on some sort of re-release, or if some really talented musicians want to get together and play top-grade covers. For now though, we're outta luck.
