Ok finished the reaction. This song ia about the fight for Eminem's spirit, with the Devil, his addiction. He sold his soul to the devil, and the cost is his addiction. And after sobering up, the addiction pops up again. The "devil in his ear" starts to creep up on him. Thats why 123=666, to many refrences of the devil. But at the end they merge, eminem is losing. The chainsaw is Slim Shady coming back. Revvvvvvvvvv

It is Shady and everything that it represents, his addiction, his anger, his depression, even fame. She got it right off the bat again. It's a devil/demon in that sense lol. It's his demons, his dark thoughts. I always thought that he refers to Em as Shady as a way to convince him, like "if I call him Shady enough, he'll give in" hah. Plus all the talking about how Em killed/beat him is a reference to "When I'm gone", that song was supposed to mark the death of Shady, but he returns and by the end of the song Em does give in, hence the voices being in synch. Love this song! Edit: another cool detail about the 1 - 2 - 3 part is that on the actual song he says it at the 1 minute and 23 sec mark. He does that in "Arose" too
