Naddis To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand lil Pump. The genius is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of artistic theory most of the lyrics will go over a typical Listener's head. There's also Pump's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lyrics, to realize that they're not just Catchy- they say something deep about LIFE. It's a common misconcetion that this was to tell people not to take his songs seriously, but in reality this was a song eminem wrote because he felt bad for a rapper named "Canibus". See, Canibus kept writing to Eminem suggesting that they should rap together. Basically, Eminem got tired of Canibus' writing and wrote a song called "Can I bitch? (Canibus Dis). Canibus then wrote a followup song called "U never cared (Eminem dis).
