So happy you reacted to this, definitely resonates with me so much. I lost my daughter at just ten months old in 2015, so this song fits perfect with what I went through. Decided to give up alcohol the day I buried her. That day I drank myself into the hospital, just not good at all and knew I did not want my life to waste away and did not want to give alcohol a chance to be an outlet. Instead, I started working out from 3 or 4 days a week to 7 days a week now. Anyway, I've been with my wife since 2006, married since 2013, and we've grown stronger since even though statistically we should've been divorced probably. I grew up being beaten as a child, my dad beat my mother so they divorced, but I'm the complete opposite of how my parents were and my wife says over and over she doesn't know how I've grown to be how I am. I just say, they showed me what not to do.

@@littlewigglemonster7691 thank you so much, that's a lot of live right there bro. We've had our times, and still have our days but we've learned how to manage and cope. Something we live with now, but we always talk about Arianna Marie, our daughter. Keep her memory alive, and that helps. We were able to get past the fear of having another child and have been blessed with him. And he is growing up knowing about his "Sissy" and will continue to do so. I have a portrait of her on my chest that helps show him who she is.

It helps to know there's other people who know the emotions you're going through, and it lightens the load a little. In 13 days it'll be 22 years since I lost my dad. (I was 16) it's STILL a very vivid memory, but it does get easier with time. I don't think "time heals all wounds", but it does numb it over the years.

They can both be good parents, even though they were abusive towards each other

Something I think is cool about this song that I don't hear people talk about is throughout the entire song there is the sound of rain and windshield wipers as part of the beat. I think it's extremely creative, and personally it gives me the vibe that he's writing it out in his car in some fast food parking lot or something. Elena is the name of a person that he's mentioned before that you may have heard of as Laney. It's Kim's niece that he's adopted as a daughter of his own. Haley and Laney are his two girls basically... Laney's mom was named Dawn and was Kim's sister. She battled with drugs and I believe died from an overdose around 2015. Honestly I would love to, but there is a major issue, people just don’t watch the content. I was thinking of starting another channel for the sole purpose of that.. but putting videos on this channel that get less than 5k people a day watch negatively affects KZbin recommendations of other videos, which massively harms the channel. Example the last atmosphere video I posted was in may of last year, only 11k people have had the interest in seeing it since I’ve posted it , and it’s wild because atmosphere is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥.
